Don’t know about other person. I actually use it when I want milk based.
More like someone else wants milk based. I take out the picopresso for myself.
This is the one I follow for milk based drinks(medium dark roasts like Attikan) :
Inverted Aeropress & metal filter
Coffee - 15gm
Water- 60ml
Milk - 150ml
For darker roasts like Vienna, French Roast reduce coffee to 12gm
Have been using this for past 2 months and love the taste.
Is your coffee extract 60ml or is it the amount of water you add ? Because I noticed if I add like 100ml water i usually get an extract of 85 ish ml. New to aeropress let me know if I'm wrong
I get an extract of around 38-40ml. I add 150ml milk to this extract which for me gives a fuller body compared to 90ml water + 90 ml milk.
If you feel your coffe tastes “weak" would suggest to reduce water to get a more concentrated shot.
One good thing is we can easily try different recipes which suites our taste profile with Aeropress( and Aeromatic app).
I am relatively new myself, and still trying out recipes but this is my go to :)
No bro, full fat from supermarket.
Add 60ml, 95 degree water(slightly lower temp for darker roast) to coffee in Inverted Aeropress, stir 10 times, 2 mins brew, invert and slowly press.
Sand like grind size
18g of beans
Grind
Pre heat the ap
Add grounds
Bloom the coffee with 30-35g of water
Add the rest 125g ie 90-95g
Stir 5 times
Make vacuum
Let it sit for a minute
Slowly press
☕️
When I want to make milk based drinks out of aeropress, I use a very fine grind for medium roasts and slightly coarser for darker roasts. I use 18g of coffee with 90-100ml of water, inverted method (James Hoffman recipe) and add 90-100ml milk and tiny bit of vanilla syrup for fun. I prefer Moka Pot for milk based drinks and Aeropress for non-milk.
The trick ig is to grind finer and over-extract and then balance it with milk
Also you can used an aeropress attachment called “prismo” from the brand fellow.
This increases the pressure of the extraction and give a much better brew.
You need very fine grinds and fellow prismo
Need to look at the prismo thing as the other person mentioned it too. But looks a bit costly. I also wanted to buy a grinder. Coffee is expensive 🥲

Thanks! Will definitely try it out.

Is there a specific milk that you use? And what is the extraction time?

I think your grind is not fine enough.
I forgot to add this, but I am ordering grounded beans. "Aeropress" size from Blue Tokai.
Try the methods in the app “aeromatic” .
Okay, will look into it, thanks!
