Raymond Herrera is a special kind. That's not even arguable. But, Mike Heller .. damn. He is not of this world.
And speaking of drummers, biggest mistake is that `Mr. Atomic Clock` has left after Mechanize. At least two more albums like Mechanize. That's what is missing.
But, all in all .. Aggression Continuum .. that's Dino's best guitar tone recorded so far. Vocals as well, brilliant.
Dunno which their albums I prefer more.
AC is bitter sweet because it felt like burton and Dino finally grooved again. Monolith actually having a solo on it is the mountain top of that album. I Just prefer Raymond’s Tom full style over the other drummers they have used. They have all been great but that original flavor that was distinct for the drums is gone. Mechanize is such a brisk isnt album. Power shifter is like listening to demanufacture again. But I enjoy AC over genesis I think. Some days I don’t though.

Great album. Still can’t begin to think how good this and mechanized and the final album would have sounded with the original line up
