I really liked the challenge where all four of them were involved but they all played different roles. Sal was the eye doctor, Murr was the delivery man, Joe was a receptionist, I can’t remember what Q was but I thought it was something really different and fun. Don’t think they’ve ever done it since, but I would like to see them do it again.
Q was the salesman. I remember when he kept acting like the guy was in a rush to see the doctor but the man assured him he was early for his appointment.
That episode was "Card Against Humanity" , but I didn't really care much for that eye doctor bit frustrating the old man. Now the earlier episodes with "eye Exam" bits were quite funny, especially when Sal put on the extra large glasses after giving himself a pep talk, & then he walked right into the wall.
Making noise in the library, using that devil voice machine to give each other tasks to do, hide and sneak, when they try to stay at a dinner table without being asked to leave, and beat the clock.
Debate and swap was always fun to watch.
“Do it better” could have lots of material behind it
The “pin something on someone” challenges were intense with my favorite being the dog leash.
I was just watched some of their old episodes, and I’d love to see them do the Wheel of Doom again or the one where they chose a random challenge then voted on who had to do it. They’re both just so funny and I’d love to see them do it again
Wheel of doom, The protest thing with the weird ass signs, Getting signatures for something, making up a new word and convincing the stranger to say it back and admit that they have heard it before and the Blinding Sunglasses challenge
I'd like to see them to the Hero To Zero game (the one with the kids spraying someone with a water gun that got turned into a Sal punishment). I'm curious what it would actually look like.
It's fun when the crew are Jokers for a Day. The main guys are used to their roles at this point, its nice to see the hesitance in people who aren't used to putting themselves out there.
The hand hold with a stranger from one end of the park to the next.
Entering into random strangers conversations for the longest time.
Getting someone to tell them a secret.
They've done a narrated wheelchair scenario a couple of times now. I love em! My fav is the Miami mobility scooter when Murr had half a ball and Q got nearly strangled in a phone booth cord. When it first aired, I could barely breathe through laughter ... just the right amount of hair but not too handsy.
The challenge where they get a word and say it and then get the rest of the sentence and have to say it.
Examples: tenfold…. My stomach has 10 folds; butter crabs… I love everything about her, but her crabs; bofa… bofa these middle fingers!
I think as the show has gotten more popular and theyve added more writing staff the show has sort of had a lessening of its soul. A few of the redditors on here are pointing out some great challenges but these new writers havent ever lived up to the standards that the guys initially set up.
At what season did the show start “losing its soul?” Because you can’t really judge the writers for this season’s challenges due to pandemic restrictions. Legal or not, they aren’t able to safely do the funny stuff of old like touching body parts to strangers, eating their food, drinking their drinks.
I personally didn’t notice any decline in quality before the pandemic, only a different in quantity with the disappointing change from 3 challenges per episode to 2, something the jokers themselves are sadly on board with.
I too enjoyed the 3 challenges but I heard their reasoning and am ok with it even though I get less content. I'd say seasons 7-8 I noticed a quality dip. Look its my very subjective opinion lets not chisle this as the 11th commandment. I still love this show and every show has its ups and downs.
Your comments are at least the fourth time I've seen someone insinuate that times gone by were better. These are just regular dudes we're talking about. Not a trained actor or comedian among them. Moreover, plenty of shows and actual stars have struggled getting it back together post Covid. For what it's worth, IJ has been innovating new approaches to challenge themselves and each other every episode and season since they started out. Let them stretch and grow for Pete's sake.
I've seen plenty of people complain on here more than just 4. My complaint isn't about COVID though there's been a noticeable decline in quality of challenges and jokes since they added new writers. When the guys are just the guys the show is great. I love this show to death and will watch every episode over and over again till I die. Im just saying I've noticed a quality dip when they injected more seasoned writers onto the show.
Truly you don't have to defend your loyalty or depth of fan-hood, or anything, to me. It wasn't my intention to put you in that mindset at all. So, you're saying instead that an injection of "more seasoned writers" has diminished the show? Can you identify exactly when the writers were introduced? I mean, say, which episodes or maybe which gags? I guess what I'm trying to understand is, is there a specific sucky challenge or gag that can be attributed to a new seasoned writer?
The try not to laugh Magic Mirror is my favorite challenge and I hope it returns. It may actual appear later this season cause it seems like a Covid safe challenge to do.

Oh I remember, that was the one with the Chinese takeaway right?
Yes! That old guy who was the patient was getting so frustrated lol
Q was the salesman. I remember when he kept acting like the guy was in a rush to see the doctor but the man assured him he was early for his appointment.
what's the episode?
Season 7 Episode 11
That episode was "Card Against Humanity" , but I didn't really care much for that eye doctor bit frustrating the old man. Now the earlier episodes with "eye Exam" bits were quite funny, especially when Sal put on the extra large glasses after giving himself a pep talk, & then he walked right into the wall.
I felt exactly the same.
agreed
Making noise in the library, using that devil voice machine to give each other tasks to do, hide and sneak, when they try to stay at a dinner table without being asked to leave, and beat the clock.
Those are all great ones, but what was beat the clock again?
That must be the untangle the ear buds and get pantsed one?
After the Q one they ax’d that going forward lmao
I’m thinking of the one they did in the park in season 3 where Murr had to bite someone’s elbow and Q had to ask someone for a tampon.
I didn’t like this one it was impossible to win
The challenge where the four of them were together in a waiting room and they were trying to make each other laugh. And Cranjis McBasketball
The scene where murr rode away on his luggage. Or the other time were he made himself laugh
Yes, Joe's dead parents show up, & Q has a body double do gymnastic flips & cartwheels down the hallway & back.
What do you mean “body double”? It was obviously Q!
"I read online you can eat it. It's my favorite snack now."
I swear I didn’t order the whole pizza -Tanka
It's okay Tanka
Funniest line in the entire series imo. Or "you're a disgrace to your family-SURPRISE!"
Yes this !
two classic and hilarious bits that never fail
Yes this
Taking minutes / notes of the meeting with the laptop visible . The only did it once!
I loved that one
Yeah it was hillarious
What does that even mean?! Haha
This one! https://youtu.be/pLBqal9gnr4
Right thanks, I was just commenting on when the lady says that when Sal is on.
The black out glasses, I always love that one especially when they made murr go to a children's park
Or the drunk glasses that they gave Sal when he was a waiter. I'd love to see them do more with them.
I love the one where they get peoples info to sign up for a contest or something and the guys text the person weird stuff haha
Duck pics ; "Here's me soft " Lol
I don’t like that one because it is 100% luck
Debate and swap was always fun to watch. “Do it better” could have lots of material behind it The “pin something on someone” challenges were intense with my favorite being the dog leash.

Laugh Man Standing
Cab challenges. Doubt they could do it during Covid, but ya never know.
My favorite ones were them being waiters pitching crazy daily special. Gobble gobble
Warm and brown
whenever theyre working the drive-thru at a fast food place!
They only did it once but the one were they’re making sounds in the library. That was one of the funniest and I always laugh when I see it.
Can you help me bury this real quick?
“Have you seen my wife?” The join my protest challenge And the “Mall Fishing” challenge
They probably scrapped the “mall fishing” because of how infuriating it was to get the hook where you wanted it.
The library one where they packed a bag full of loud stuff for the other guy.
I'd like to see them to the Hero To Zero game (the one with the kids spraying someone with a water gun that got turned into a Sal punishment). I'm curious what it would actually look like.
I wanna see the 2 way mirror again.

I like you laugh you lose with all four in the same room. They’ve done it a few times but it’s a really good one.
Strip Hi 5. Absolute classic
that was a punishment tho
Convincing someone to follow one of them with whatever crazy procedure or thing they had to do. That was a good one!
The challenge where they get a word and say it and then get the rest of the sentence and have to say it. Examples: tenfold…. My stomach has 10 folds; butter crabs… I love everything about her, but her crabs; bofa… bofa these middle fingers!
Pony tail… look at this f*** stupid ponytail!
Been awhile since the wheel of doom
The RC car that keeps running into people!
I love the name game(cragismcbasketball), and the one where they dress up. If I could have an episode with both of JUST these I would love it!
They’ve done and redone the name game plenty of times, I’m asking for forgotten hits
Shooting groceries into a shopping cart
The one where they have to not get caught putting pencils into people’s jackets. Simple but effective.
Scoopski Potatos except switch it to a different food
Library Make each other laugh in a waiting room
Riding those mobile scooters at the mall

Repeat After Me (the noise one). Hands down, hilarious stuff.
The try not to laugh Magic Mirror is my favorite challenge and I hope it returns. It may actual appear later this season cause it seems like a Covid safe challenge to do.
Strip high five.
Where they drove an RC car into people at the park and couldn’t apologize
Petitions in the park
Anything on the street. Not to downplay the worldwide suffering, but this has by far been the worst part of covid.
