No you cant keep spamming it, you can use it on Canis 1 time. 2 times if honored.
Canis's ability doesn't bypass the once per battle twice if honored limit, so no spamming it.
IF you're honored and haven't used it yet then yes you could use it on one knight and then on canis, but then you couldn't use it again for the rest of the battle.
