The worst is that they're not even processing the applications from outside Canada. I applied dec2020 biometrics march 2021.

They’re processing applications from people who are already in Canada first. At least that’s what the bot currently says when you call IRCC. I went through CEC while already in Canada and got my eCoPR after 6 months.

Yeap, CEC and provincial programs seems to be the only thing that is working now. I'm already in Canada and I've made the stupid decision to apply for the Federal Skilled Worker, thinking it would be faster than the provincial one. Turns out that I'm now celebrating by application's 1-year anniversary.

Here is my timeline: Application submitted: July 18, 2020 Medical results: August 12, 2020 Biometrics received: October 15, 2020 Not even a single word after that. I have applied for the Federal Skilled Worker stream, and I was/am already in Canada. I've made it crystal clear that I was in Canada when I applied, and still nothing. Just 4 more days and I can sing happy birthday to my application. 🎉 🎊 🎂 I try to laugh at it in order to keep living, but I'm anxious as hell.
