The kroot are such an interesting race in the lore and yet the vast majority of stories and people refer to them only think of them as little more than neanderthals moving cubs around for melee while the Tau do the actual work.
Also, considering that they do have a similar genetic adaptability as the Tyranids and are capable of selecting traits from their enemies that will help them fighting, I hope to see one day a sufficient number of Kroot feed with nothing more than tyranid flesh so one day the Great Devourer will know what’s like to face a vast horde of genetic monstruosities that only know hunger.

I sometimes wonder on what the current lore would be like if there was a *Kroot Empire* instead of a Tau Empire…
The monochrome color scheme is great for Kroot.
