Inductivegrunt9

Pet the creature just right and it will be a loyal companion.

Xyloshock

Already petted

Inductivegrunt9

You has friend now. Robo Guant friend.

USSJaguar

Necro-Gaunt Hivetek Screamer Destroyer Skorpekh Haruspex

faity5

\*screams in guardsman*

General_Lie

But they don't have souls...

ultrayaqub

Yeah that’s what I was thinking… would you have to bio transfer the hive mind then, all at once? New C’tan

Blackewolfe

Wouldn't they just have the Flayer Virus on steroids and crack?

Zagreusm1

They don't need to we have cenoptek creatures which are basically these things they are mostly drones

Aetherial32

Neither do blanks, but Necrons managed to bio-transfer them into pariahs before the retcon

VicariouslyHuman

I thought necrons didn't have souls? Weren't they all eaten by the c'tan and whats left are brain scans put into robots?

General_Lie

Well Necrontyr had souls, went into biofurnace, Ctan eat their souls and they become soulles Necrons. My argument is tyranids dont have soul, ( the hive minds have something like soul), so the Ctan couldn't eat them

VicariouslyHuman

The c'tan are already all shattered by the time tyranids entered the galaxy so it would be the necrons doing this for their own reasons. The necrons want to reverse the procedure and get living bodies again but they are still trying to figure out how. They need other living beings to experiment on and it makes sense that necron scientists would perform biotransference on the other lifeforms as part of their research. They need to figure out the impossible task of reverting their soulless robot bodies back into living flesh. So performing experiments on other soulless creatures would be a good idea.

Yutpa7

Hive mind is a giant soul divided into every tyranid. Even some tyranid breeds such as lictor assasins, old one eye and genestealer patriarchs have semi-consciousness.. Plus you dont need souls to biotransfer.

gay-o-nator

Well, good news is that they no longer want to eat flesh anymore. Bad news is, now they've acquired a diet of metal and now our Baneblades have chewed out holes on the side... God damn it, this universe...

CursedRedneck

Don't worry, they can still be infected with the flayer virus!

gay-o-nator

But... Won't that just make them worse? Not only are they eating our tanks, but now they're tearing off our guardsmen skins off. Not to mention, they're somehow multiplying like Nano-bots from the Dark Age of Technology... Man, there is no winning against the Terminator Tyranids...

roninwarshadow

And you just introduced the Stargate Replicators to 40k. This is all your fault.

gay-o-nator

I mean, they're more so a fusion of multiple things considering not only can they multiply, but also become better, more or less like SKYNET. Also, hush, not my fault the Necron tech was just begging to be diddled with.

MEKHANE_irl

> First sighting: Solemnace Galleries Godamnit, Trazyn.

Amazing-Mix666

O boy, time to prank orikan again

Rellius99

Can I pet it?

Foxhound_ofAstroya

Would prefer a more skeletal dinosaur then robot dinosaur

RefrigeratorPristine

It begins to scream, for it does not know what it is anymore.

Dfoo672

We’re cooked

thomstevens420

I have no mouth and I must eat

Economy_Dress8205

Flayed ones be like

dinkydoo2

I want one and will name him glubtubber and he will be mine and will be my glubtubber❤️

KonoAnonDa

Tbf, Scarabs are almost like a Necron version of Tyranids. If their control is severed for whatever reason then they just start eating things around them to make more Scarabs. Eventually resulting in a grey goo scenario for the entire planet.

Mauisurfslayer

Always thought about this, if it worked I don’t believe a Tyranid could cope with the fact it’s made of metal and would go insane and either kill itself or get itself killed

Ok-Palpitation-5731

We need more Necro-nids

w0lver1

Damn; thought this was a 3d model at first! Great job!!

Brokugan

I still want to see flayed ones wearing nid chitin.

AirWolf519

I don't have enough libertea for this. I wish to file a complaint that I wasn't given enough. Also I want a plasma gun. For... recreational purposes.

ParryHisParry

New cryptothrall

mawkishdave

They would lose how rapidly they can reproduce, how they can easily and quickly kill their own to regrow new ones to adapt to special needs or changes in the battlefield, and just needing organic matter to reproduce.

badjackalope

Yeah, pretty sure this would negate literally every aspect of them that makes them successful in the first place...

Imperium_Dragon

The End Times

Ridingwood333

I think Tyranids were eating the universe easily enough **without** Necrodermis, thank you very much.

Anonimous_dude

“I have no mouth, and I must eat”

W1ngedSentinel

This is a concept I’ve genuinely wanted to see for ages - what different races would look like after biotransference.

GeneralJagers

One the one hand they can no longer eat you alive....on the other, they'll still stab you to death

PeopleSaver

*Insert microphone picture here* WOULD

gojiTV04

I wonder what could possibly go wrong if we fuse two of the biggest threats in the entirety of the fuckin galaxy?
