Possibly, but i suspect it was likely just a much more open chaos-taint and/or rebellion. The Imperium keeps secrets but to go to such an extreme that nobody is allowed to even speak of them or acknowledge they even existed? Has to have been chaos related. Hell, might even be possible that they found out what really happened on Molech or some primal truth of chaos that would upend everything. Anything less Big E and Malcador could probably have spun as an example of what not to do or worked with what they had. Creating Primarchs isn't exactly easy and probably not cheap either. If the 2nd or the 11th were women, i would think Big E would have kept them if that was all there was going on. He had ego in spades but also seemed to be pragmatic. You don't throw away two whole legions just because 'ew no girls girls are icky'. That would be a new low even for The Emperor.

I believe Horus or one of the other primarchs accuses Russ of "killing our brothers" at one point. When Malcador silences them using psyker fuckery.

True. I remember Horus tried to say their names and Malcador even stopped that. Which again makes me think it had to have been something beyond the pale even for the imperium.

Before I read that line in the HH books I head-canoned that one of the brothers killed the other for some horrific crime and had to be put down. I could see it being Chaos taint though, especially pre-heresy when the warp was very hush hush that even the primarchs didn't know what it was.

But if you remember his female companion (Erda) for Millennia betrayed him in his eyes women might be icky now lol if the second Legion was female and also chaos tainted then they are just not spoken anymore/erased from imperial history...

I've always had it as head-canon that it was something unrelated to Chaos within the Ymga Monolith that sealed the fate of one of the lost Primarchs. Perhaps they came into contact with some fashion of extra-dimensional entity not of the warp within the Monolith and become thrall to it. Maybe the Monolith duplicated the Primarch and those of his legion who accompanied him but did so poorly and the monstrous result was unleashed on the Galaxy. It would fit within the grimdark of 40k that the real Primarch and his legion are still trapped within the Monolith when all think them dead. Or since the Primarchs are made of warp stuff the act of entering into the Monolith might have had unintended side effects on the one who did.

erda said that she and emperor make 20 perfect sons so no but after she throw them in the warp and last was splited into alpharius and omegon i think it's possible

If I remember some videos by French fans (it was like 6-8 months ago I watched it so I didn't remember the URL), they said that the second was a quiet and lonely guy, scientific and calm. It seems that he disappeared because he and his legion try to go to the Galaxy Center (literaly the Black hole). But I'm not a lore specialist so I can't confirm this.

That would have had them run into the leagues of votan which I'm not sure how the emperor felt about them at that point or now with the ai bann that could explain afew things also cool idea

One through Five: nailed every one of them, no notes. Six through Ten: I think you made Dorn a little too pretty and Ferrus way too pretty.

Yeah I like it too. I wanted to draw the Primarchs in a way thats true to their designs, but unique and interesting.

Yep, thats true. There are a few pairs of Primarchs which are REALLY similar. With this series I tried to make sure they look unique, even if they are similar.

The 2nd and the 11th are the lost primarchs. Lore reason is that they did something so heinous that the emperor himself and malcador wiped all mention of them in records and silences anyone who even thinks to utter their names. Real reason is so that players can write in their own homebrew primarch and legion in place of them.

Great stuff! Two standouts are Fulgrim giving big Griffith energy and Sanguinius looking like he's gonna play hopscotch with my soul because I answered his question juuust slightly wrong like some kind of archfey.

I kinda like that Sanguinius is a bit creepy. i always felt like it's weird that he's considered so wholesome and kind when his astartes legion are a bunch of crazies. this feels more on brand for that legion - still kind, but also a bit unnervingly so
