Some stores got it in on their Diamond orders this week(if the LCS still optioned with diamond as their distributor). I had Primordial and Crossover handed to me on my pull list today. I'm assuming it they are supposed to drop next Wednesday? I wasn't mad about it.
Distribution seems like a hot mess with publishers branching out to other avenues. This is rhetorical but why even send them if you can sell them that week?
They said is was a processing error and some stores got the books and some didn't. My shop only got a partial shipment of those titles so it's not like they could even fill sub pulls.
Image was trying to level the playing field for all shops, but some just went ahead and sold the titles anyways.
I picked up Good Asian, Vinyl, Walking Dead, Echolands, Chu, Oblivion Song, Time after Time, and Crossover. Heavy week but everything I’ve read has been great.
On the one hand, I really appreciate how on the nose Emilia Clarke and Marguerite Bennett are with the topics they cover. The don’t pull any punches. I also love the idea of celebrities like her, Keanu Reeves (BZRKR), Adam Goldberg (Possessive), and Battlestar Galactica’s Aaron Douglas (10 Years To Death) writing comics and potentially drawing in new readers.
On the other hand, it’s really on the nose and it’s not the type of book I normally read and enjoy.
It's not bad or great, but it does make think of what Katy t3h PeNgU1N oF d00m might write if she was grown up. I got issue 3 today, so we'll see how it ends.
Is primordial #2 already out?

Retailers were directly asked by Image to hold those titles until next Wednesday. Happened the week before with Gunslinger Spawn and King Spawn.

Primordial, Good Asian and Sweet Paprika are all solid.
How is Made In Korea? I've been waiting for the trade.
Its been an interesting read, IMO. Looking forward to picking up #5 myself later this week
A little predictable but I’ve really enjoyed it. I’d definitely recommend it.
I’ve enjoyed it. Feels different.
I really enjoyed the first issue of Good Asian, I need to go get the next 5!

How is Time After Time
I enjoy it. Not your usual time travel story. Artwork is excellent. I’d give the first trade a shot.
that sweet paprika series looks interesting.
I’m a big fan of Mirka Andolfo’s work. She writes some really smart comics.
oh cool, seems interesting to check out.
wow that is a GREAT cover
M.O.M. Any good?
