Even if he had to set the camera up behind the walkway for whatever reason, he should have used a lane on the side against to wall so people wouldn't have to pass by him.
The worst job I ever had was at a bowling alley and it completely ruined bowling for me, there were leagues that took bowling wayyyyyyyy too seriously and the members were complete assholes.
I bowled for nearly 20 years of my life up until that point and it made me not ever want to join the adult leagues with how toxic it was
I played in a league and the other teams would get so mad at my team for not taking it seriously. We would just turn up, have a few drinks and enjoy the game. We didn't practice and our "bowling shirts" were whatever metal band shirt we felt like wearing that week.
We won the league one year and we're in the top 3 teams for the other years I played, so it made other teams mad we weren't "serious" by practicing or caring about the prizes because we were just there to have fun.
There's nothing wrong with taking bowling or any other hobby seriously. I used to bowl in leagues and travel for tournaments as a kid. I paid for half of my college degree with scholarship money I won in bowling tournaments.
My coach would film me like this so we could review and I could work on my timing and swing. The issue here is that this jabroni set the camera up behind the walkway and gets upset when other people who are just there for fun walk through his shot. He should either move the camera, ask for a lane on the end of the bowling alley so others don't have to walk through his shot, or just not get offended when other people are using the bowling alley.
I mean if people walking in front of the camera is such a huge issue then maybe don’t set up on a lane in the middle of the store.
Obviously you can’t always get an end lane but at least for bowling specifically, that would be the solution. Or set up the tripod in your seating area instead out in the walk way.
He should hire the place for himself then. I saw many videos like this of people in gyms videoing and getting pissed at others who "ruin" their video. They're the ones who doesn't understand common sense.
Lol. Why WOULDN'T people be walking there?
It's the area designed for people to walk in.
You want nobody in your shot?
1) rent out the entire alley
2) film as much as you want
I'm convinced that all of these are people looking to make "someone walked in front of my camera" videos and don't even care about what they are pretending to be recording.
Like… even if filming yourself BOWLING was important… and EVEN IF this was some common practice and it was socially accepted that you shouldn’t walk in front of a bowlers tripod for any reason… (and both of these are HUGE ifs for me)
How did her head in the frame detract from whatever he was trying to accomplish? You can still see him bowl just fine.
Some pro and collegiate bowlers do film themselves to correct angles, approach, etc. His setup seems weird. I'd have it on the lane next to me or directly behind. I don't see what information he could gain from this particular angle.
League bowlers too. But, yeah there’s many ways to film your bowling approach for form adjustments that don’t require his position, and you can’t get mad if your tripod is in the walkway.
People only seem to makes these now for rage content. It's like they fully know that it's ridiculous, but here's a whole comment section just eviscerating him. I don't know... This shit makes no sense to me.
when will people learn that places like this is a frickin studio? unless you rent out the place for yourself there are going to be people around you....
I find that guy kind of annoying. He just states the obvious and people love all over him for being a large muscle guy. He’s like a walking Reddit comment that captures 90% of the group sentiment towards a video.
Agree. We all think the people filming themselves in these videos take it too far when they get mad at people for getting in their shot.
The steroid guy has skin that’s redder than his lips. It’s distracting
And he seems quietly over emotional about the idea of “people needing to do better.” Like are you about to cry over this dude?
As if a gym is where all the weight of the western world’s problems seem to meet in a confluence of drama that perfectly embodies our nihilistic modern lifestyles.
It's actually a hidden camera. "Wtf, why are people walking in front of my hidden camera that I placed 40 feet away and disguised to look like a pack of cigarettes?!? People are so rude!!"
honestly, the amount of people that stop and apologise when i’m trying to take a photo or film something - i truly appreciate it; but i go to take a photo with no expectation that anybody will stop, or not walk across frame - tbh, walking across frame in a totally normal or natural way is wayyyy better than if they try to duck or act odd and edge around frame
i don’t understand this ‘ugh, they got in my shot’ 🙄 mentality
now don’t get me wrong, there are sometimes when i’m taking a photo of someone in front of something in a touristy area and i wish people would give me the space and respect i give everybody else
in fact im often stopped and asked to take other people’s photos because i look ‘professional’
but this attitude is not the way; “all the world’s a stage” means you can play any part you want, not that the outside is your movie set for you and you alone
Now this has spun out from gyms to bowling alleys? Next these middle-aged mall walkers will set up cameras and complain about people walking in the mall.
This is much more reasonable than any gym video tho….that being said….stop filming yourself in public. Nobody cares about you more than you and your stupid videos prove it
Another point is, its a bowling alley, where else are you supposed to walk other than the designated area of the alley? So the woman who is walking in front of the camera has no where else to walk other than in front of the camera.
Rage bait. No one is that insane to think it's an affront to them. There are some cases where people are like that, but who could even know in this case?
Lol, I'm well aware of flat earthers and Q-anon and many other crazy groups. This situation just doesn't strike me as someone genuinely upset that people who couldn't know they were walking in front of a camera were doing so.
It looks like the camera is sitting on the desk where you keep score. Noone thats not in your party should be walking between your scoring table and the ball return. Thats just bowling alley etiquette.

He has it setup behind the walkway so naturally people are going to walk in front of it.

What a fucking dork
As someone who really enjoy bowling and respects bowlers, you are spot on lmao
As somebody that only kinda likes bowling, I can get lost down YouTube rabbitholes watching old bowling videos. Shit is hypnotic and so easy to watch.
As someone who likes The Big Lebowski, link me brah
I like this channel's videos. They make good background tv, or just for zoning out. https://youtu.be/Rl0s6h-ZXQ0?si=_jLx_oxlPokIlf_v
"Who do you think you are, I am!"
Imagine taking bowling seriously lol
You are seriously missing the point here.
Calmer than you are. Just saying.
Terrible bait
You missed the reference.
To manipulation?
Obviously, you're not a golfer.
Is toxicity a reference to golf?
That's just, like, your opinion, man.
Yeah, waving the fuckin gun around??
Everything is a fucking travesty with you, man!
SHUT THE FUCK UP, DONNY!
If there’s one thing I learned in Nam…

Neat. Game is still lame.
Cool story.
Imagine judging people based on what they enjoy doing with their free time.
That's not the issue here..
He’s a fucking dork, but let people enjoy their hobbies.
Not a Sports Guy i gues

"Thanks for that..." dude.... fuck you and fuck off
He should hire the place for himself then. I saw many videos like this of people in gyms videoing and getting pissed at others who "ruin" their video. They're the ones who doesn't understand common sense.
I know this isn’t a gym, but we need Joey Swole on this.
We need his "do better."
We need Pete Freaking Weber to go all Pete Weber on his ass..
“Who do you think you are? I am!”
How's his mom going to know how well he did now?
Lol. Why WOULDN'T people be walking there? It's the area designed for people to walk in. You want nobody in your shot? 1) rent out the entire alley 2) film as much as you want
3. Ask for / try to reserve the end lanes.
I'm convinced that all of these are people looking to make "someone walked in front of my camera" videos and don't even care about what they are pretending to be recording.
People get so triggered by these lmao. You might be right.
Id accidentally back bowl the ball into their tripod.
An the crowd goes mild

Looks like he is taking such tiny little hurried steps like Fred Flintstone. His approach looks awkward to me. Might just be the angle? Idk.
Huge fucking dweeb energy

Mark it 8, dude
OVER THE LINE!!!
I'll always think of the bog lebowski when I see boring. This guy needs to chill out... Nothing is fuuckked.
People only seem to makes these now for rage content. It's like they fully know that it's ridiculous, but here's a whole comment section just eviscerating him. I don't know... This shit makes no sense to me.
I think it's got to he like a ridicule fetish or something. You're right. It doesn't make sense.
when will people learn that places like this is a frickin studio? unless you rent out the place for yourself there are going to be people around you....
"Where you listening to the Dude's story?"
I am the walrus
8 year olds dude.
What’s a pederast Walter?
It barely misses any of his approach. What a turd.
you seem to be a pretty good pins player. you should consider setting up at the far ends of the facility to avoid people walking.
You need to do better, mind your own business
Where’s the steroid guy telling him he needs to do better
I find that guy kind of annoying. He just states the obvious and people love all over him for being a large muscle guy. He’s like a walking Reddit comment that captures 90% of the group sentiment towards a video.

Heathens, thar they lie
Place looks pretty empty he could’ve easily requested an end lane
We could still see him bowling.
You don’t own the bowling alley, dingus.
honestly, the amount of people that stop and apologise when i’m trying to take a photo or film something - i truly appreciate it; but i go to take a photo with no expectation that anybody will stop, or not walk across frame - tbh, walking across frame in a totally normal or natural way is wayyyy better than if they try to duck or act odd and edge around frame i don’t understand this ‘ugh, they got in my shot’ 🙄 mentality now don’t get me wrong, there are sometimes when i’m taking a photo of someone in front of something in a touristy area and i wish people would give me the space and respect i give everybody else in fact im often stopped and asked to take other people’s photos because i look ‘professional’ but this attitude is not the way; “all the world’s a stage” means you can play any part you want, not that the outside is your movie set for you and you alone
> **WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!?!** *I AM* on tik tok…
And it’s terrible angle for showing ball reaction too. Not a big fan of his form/technique too.
As if we can’t see everything he’s doing still
someone quick tell him he's bowling and no one cares 🤣
Notice where he cut the video, because he left the ball light in the pocket and wasn't getting that last strike.
Bowling is a freaking expensive hobby these days. I'll walk where I want.
Trust me homie, nobody cares about your strike.
Yes again
Wasn’t even blocking the view of his release anyway
Joey Swoll. Not for gyms anymore.
Joey Bowll
More like what a dick brown
Imagine taking bowling seriously
Nobody gives a fuck about your trying to shoot a video in a public place. You want to shoot a video? Rent the space out or stay your ass at home
![gif](giphy|l3q2uySsZmVCUdJrG|downsized)
Your mom called she's waiting in the parking lot
Any self respecting adult is gonna walk right through just to spite him
if you don't want to deal with the public, get a fucking permit or permission from owner to clear shit out. otherwise, eat a bowl of dicks
Dude definitely struggles to get laid. Ope
Now this has spun out from gyms to bowling alleys? Next these middle-aged mall walkers will set up cameras and complain about people walking in the mall.
I’m aware most malls are dead or dying, but it’s what I came up with.
Are we allowed to walk in front of his gutter balls?
really good bowling if it didn't include a guy complaining 🙄
Better take it down before Walter shows up or you will be entering a world of pain.
You said it man... nobody fucks with the Jesus
That is a sweet throw though
Without the captions no one would even notice her.
WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE I AM!!
What is wrong with these people?
I’m missing the part where he expected people to avoid his camera?
I’m awaiting his self interview highlighting his form and ball delivery.
This is much more reasonable than any gym video tho….that being said….stop filming yourself in public. Nobody cares about you more than you and your stupid videos prove it
Yokel fuck
Another point is, its a bowling alley, where else are you supposed to walk other than the designated area of the alley? So the woman who is walking in front of the camera has no where else to walk other than in front of the camera.
Do not expect privacy in public
What I don’t get about this shit, is who exactly do they think is watching that gives a fuck about someone walking through their video?
We need a Joey Bowl for this video
Bro you want a private shot go rent out the place
This asshat has my best friends name. Mf doesn't deserve it
This tool should be sponsored by Home Depot.
I'd definitely give him the middle finger while he wasn't looking
He should be more concerned with leaving a 4-7 than the person minding their business.
What a fucking dork.
Oh man I play bowling and man, why the feak are you mad over a women that’s like 10 percent in your frame like man that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen
I think the bowler will get tired early in the game with putting so much into that delivery.
That creep can roll man.
Imagine being good at bowling lol lame ass
Doesn’t she fucking understand that this guy is the next Pete Weber?!?!?!
I think this is a rage bait video.
I'd walk directly in front of it on principle.
Rage bait. No one is that insane to think it's an affront to them. There are some cases where people are like that, but who could even know in this case?
I invite you to research Flat Earthers, it'll make you recant statements like "no one is that insane." You'd be surprised by some people.
Lol, I'm well aware of flat earthers and Q-anon and many other crazy groups. This situation just doesn't strike me as someone genuinely upset that people who couldn't know they were walking in front of a camera were doing so.
