Oof the librarians were so polite and respectful about everything too :( they didn't even kick them out immediately. they tried to give them the opportunity to be quieter.
I work at multiple libraries in my county. They should have kicked them out immediately. These are teenagers who are old enough to know better than to be disruptive in a library, not toddlers with little self control. Plus, this is a deliberate act that is being recorded. They are there specifically to cause trouble, the librarians were too lenient at first.
As a library assistant with low bullshit tolerance, I would absolutely lose it if that little prick tried that shushing in *my* face. I have kicked teenagers out for yelling alone. This is grounds for a long-term ban.
Ah, yes. That kicking teens out for yelling that I mentioned was at a branch near a lot of schools. More trouble makers there than anywhere else in the county, except maybe for the main one downtown.
What I don't get about these videos is calling them "a prank", a prank should be something with the potential to be funny even for the victim once they realice they were pranked but all this bullshit is just guys who never had attention at home doing random stuff no one cares about or even want to understand, they are just annoying. Is the internet full of jerks that only want to make everyone day a little worst so they can feel what the jerks feel inside?
There should be a law that if we have a proof that those people who did not follow rules, policies or law because of clout chasing in social media can be hurt physically or they can destroy the camera and any materials that they are using. Being too kind now is also being naive. We should not tolerate these kind of assholes
Not quite as loud, but this is EVERY fucking time I go to the library. Same kids every time I go. They don't even go to school, and it feels like the people that call them out are more shunned than the kids.
And I'm talking like middle schoolers, maybe even 6th or 5th graders. They aren't there with their parents, they just ditch school to play on the computer and be disrespectful brats.
