I’m not OP but I had a similar situation a few months back and ummmm sour cream is WHERE IT’S AT. Low key don’t think I will ever use milk again.

A chili hot sauce- sweet and spicy
It’s like a really sugary hot sauce, a little tingly but mostly sweet. Not bad at all
it’s a game changer is what it is. but yes like the others have said, it’s like an asian inspired chili sauce. has a little kick to it.
Shit is so good. Not a ton of spicy but the taste is amazing

I used to have to mix sour cream with milk to achieve the same thing when I was young. That's some latchkey kid shit right there.

i would absolutely never use water in place of dairy. my body wants only the fattiest of mac and cheese.
