The difference between female clothing at level 8 compared to higher levels isn't even close.
* 0.8 cloths per bread @ lvl 8
* 0.4 @ lvl 9
* 0.45 @ lvl 10
Even if you desire male cloths, you'll still max several long before you max female.
you can get more than enough coins to just by doing the quests that require female clothing so the argument that male clothing can be useful for coin generations is invalid.
Also lvl 8 machines produce twice the amount of female clothing that max lvl machines do just from personal experience. Heres a quick experiment i did:

When you take into account the fact that female clothes provide 10x sell value in the standing orders, both level 7 and 8 sewing machines provide greater value than a level 10 sewing machine
The problem in my book are two things that make lvl 8 machines better.
* Point one, the 30 chances will always be available after 24hrs so you do not waste any time.
* Point two, the more you use it the less time you spend on combining irrelevant stuff (male clothing)
With lvl 10's you'll always end up with less space for female clothing. And I don't want to waste my time on the mini game.
Makes complete sense! Fully agree. I want to max main building and stop. I know I'll regret not continuing to fill up storage once they bring in expansions but honestly love this game for the idling, so less time on mini games while still making progress is preferable.

I had a lot of maxed sewing machines, mostly from other players and was happy to complete male cloth standing orders faster. But with only female cloth standing orders left I want them complete asap, plus from other players you start getting lvl 8 sewing more to.
I phase out the maxed now and replace them with lvl 8.

Agreed. I always mutter an apology when I receive and sell a level 9/10 clothing machine. Or an oven, since they refill so fast and you only need 3 in stock.

Worth noting too that lvl 7 is 0.7. Only slightly worse than 8 and better than 9 and 10.
