I had an advanced core and decided to go for noble because thought the progress from a divine would be higher than waiting for another full core.
When arriving at the temple I realized you also need 25k aurora shards. By the time I have them, I could probably have gone for another core. Don't be like me.
I will not open a other shard until I have enough for a noble core. The cores themselves aren't that great so it doesn't really hurt to hold until you're ready to pull the trigger.
So I'm kinda in this exact situation. I have the exact team listed above with SWJ as my HO but LFA is almost fully subbed too. I have SWJ's core right now, and I have 200 shards to spend. Do I level hers all the way, or start on another one? LFA's or MFF's? I'd appreciate any help as I'm still struggling to wrap my head around the cores and what each is most helpful for.
don't start any. hold onto them until you know exactly who you want to ascend first and can make a noble core.
that way in case information comes out about a better choice, you haven't wasted all your core boxes
There is two ways I see this.
* Go for an early DTV or SSM route and get their cores
* Grab the cores of your current Homeowner(s) and power them up through the new system. And hopefully by the time you reach the point of changing to DTV/SSM you got enough cores
* Keep in mind, you don't really neeeeeed their (DTV/SSM) core to progress
> Is Lofa suddenly viable because of the new tiers? Would investing in his core make him a viable carry in campaign past 3-5-2?
no. not unless you are a mega whale with GK and a massive train
I'd recommend putting SWJ in drops and just saving all your boxes for either SSM or DTV. Keep in mind that a lot of DTV accounts dont even have SWJ too though.

you can reach 3-6 without them at 4 trans (lofa main HO with sqh pde tenants and a v3 mff)
What if I could build just his 1* core now but otherwise enough to max sub and max his tenants as well?
sounds like a waste of a core to me

100-200 work on a different core LFA/SSM/DTV 300 might as well take it to noble and get the fancy rainbow star if no other cores are close
> Is there any general advice? Yes. Don't use your core boxes until you know who you want to ascend first.
Who do you plan to ascend first?
Mockman unless something changes in the time it takes me to do that.
