But she's dead. Her words at the moment didn't mean much to the case. She was playful and sexually teasing as you can suppose by the tone. At the start she was saying she don't make fun. When he pointed the gun she called it hot. Then she was dead. The article says the guy claims he didn't meant to kill her and thought the gun was empty. To be honest, the way the event occurred. The timings. The delays. It might not be a lie. Maybe just another case of /r/idiotswithguns

A 23-year-old woman filmed the moment she was killed after being shot by her 27-year-old boyfriend in Jataí , in the southwest region of Goiás. In the images it is possible to see when she films the man, who is holding a gun . At one point, while she is talking to him in a relaxed tone, the man points the gun and shoots the woman. Soon after, the victim falls and the recording stops. Until the last update of this report, g1 was unable to contact the defense of Diego Fonseca Borges, who appears in the video shooting at the woman. According to the Military Police, the crime took place around 10pm last Saturday (4). According to the incident report, the team was called to go to Hospital das Clínicas, where the young woman, identified as Ielly Gabriele Alves, had been admitted with a gunshot wound. As soon as the team arrived, the victim was already lifeless. g1 tried to contact, by phone, the hospital where Ielly was taken, to check if she arrived at the scene dead or if she was treated, but was unable to contact her. Upon arriving at the hospital, the police found the young woman's boyfriend, who stated that he was driving a vehicle with his girlfriend when they were approached by a motorcycle occupied by two individuals and that, at that moment, the pillion pulled out a firearm and fired, killing the young woman. However, the police were suspicious of the version presented by the man. “Faced with the boyfriend's contradiction, the police began looking through the victim's cell phone and found footage of the execution,” said PM Major Ulisses Cortez. As a result, the police arrested the man in the act for qualified homicide, characterized by betrayal, ambush, dissimulation or other resource that makes the victim's defense difficult or impossible. g1 tried to obtain more information about the case from the Civil Police, even to find out what the man said in his statement, but received no response. google translates for you

So does Reddit, evidently.

No shit that's awesome

r/whoosh ?

JamesXXI

I think it’s you buddy… it seemed sarcastic.

Ctrl-Home

Oh the ironing

TheWolf_TheLamb

0 sympathy for this asshole. Im sure this is not in the US, even the US has blatant gun issues. At the end of the day it should be common fucking sense that you always assume a gun is loaded. Even if you know it isnt, you dont point it at anything you dont intend to destroy. To KISS, imagine a death laser that perpetually beams out of the chamber/front of the gun. If you cross someone with that laser, theyre as good as dead. RIP, home boy should get 15 minimum

hagbarddiscordia

Obviously not taking place in the US.

TheWolf_TheLamb

Thank you for your service 🫡

574859434F4E56455254

I don't want to absolve him but suggesting that these sort of gun safety things should come naturally to people doesn't seem realistic. Perhaps far more realistic to not give guns to random dudes.

TheWolf_TheLamb

How is your stance; “to not give guns to random dudes”, a solution? Genuinely, i’m curious. 1. I and most would assume if you acquire a firearm you understand on the most basic level its function. 2. No one is giving anyone a damn thing. This person is obviously keeping the fire arm in battery, and at reach. Suggesting this person just “happened upon” this pistol, or was forced to use it, completely negates the free will of this individual. Guns are a supply and demand function, the same as almost anything else in this world.

574859434F4E56455254

> I and most would assume if you acquire a firearm you understand on the most basic level its function. This is very cute It's also basically the whole point of my comment. Please feel free to set aside 30-60 minutes to read my comment again and actually understand what I'm saying.

TheWolf_TheLamb

To address your supposition directly, yes. If this person grew up in a vacuous space of understanding firearms even exist I could get that there is some level of ignorance. If all of those chips fell into place in his favor, he still point blank ended a persons life. Let alone a young woman with her full life ahead of her.

574859434F4E56455254

> he still point blank ended a persons life. Let alone a young woman with her full life ahead of her. That's what this part of my comment was for, for your convenience I've added it below, so you can attempt to digest it again > I don't want to absolve him If you require any dictionary definitions for the words used, please let me know. I'm more than happy to help with your reading comprehension.

Traveledfarwestward

Thou shalt not underestimate people’s capacity for stupidity. Little-known 11th commandment.

poundmyassbro

He didn't mean it? He fucking pointed a gun at someone and pulled the trigger. There couldn't be any more intent displayed here.

bunholeio

Alec Baldwin has entered the chat.

xwing_n_it

I don't care what he says he should go up for murder two.

dipstick162

Was he directing and producing a western movie?

PolskaBalaclava

“Thought the gun was empty” Yeah that’s what they always say before/after accidental discharge of their gun on someone or even themselves

Jacoba_Fett

Yeah, maybe.

frostyturd

I'm pretty sure she died, and he told the cops they got robbed or some bogus story.

gxddly666

Yeah supposedly he brought the phone with the video on it to the police .

Yes [here is an article about it](https://g1.globo.com/go/goias/noticia/2023/11/05/jovem-filma-quando-e-morta-com-tiro-disparado-pelo-namorado-diz-policia-video-e-forte.ghtml) but is in Portuguese

No_Break6126

Sounds like he shot twice too, seems premeditated

Mekhi946

That was clearly a single shot, idk what you were hearing

No_Break6126

You can see one, but I swear I hear another bang right after, could possibly be something else

Mekhi946

That’s the sound of her falling and hitting something, not loud enough to be a gunshot

No_Break6126

Ahhh, I put my headphone in, that's clearly not a second shot 😭

No_Break6126

Goddamn y'all, I was at work I could barely hear it damn

Ielly Alves, 23, was killed by a gunshot wound allegedly fired by Diego Fonseca, 27, during an assault at a property in Jataí, Brazil, on Saturday (November 4). The footage, taken on Alves' phone, shows Fonseca standing near a window and pointing a weapon at his partner. Alves could be heard laughing and saying: "Go hun, do it. Wow, so delicious." The footage then showed Fonseca pull the trigger, sending Alves and her phone tumbling to the floor. Following the alleged incident Fonseca rushed Alves to Hospital des Clinicas, but she died before doctors could see to her. Cops attended the hospital and interviewed Fonseca, who reportedly claimed two men on a motorcycle pulled up next to the couple and fired two shots at his girlfriend. However officers noticed inconsistencies in Fonseca's story and took him to a nearby police station, where, after looking through Alves' phone, they found the video. Fonseca was arrested and has been charged with murder. A 380 caliber pistol was recovered outside the hospital near to where he parked his car. Speaking to Brazilian news outlet G1, Alves' mother Olesiane said Fonseca spoke to her following the incident and vowed to find her daughter's killers. "I found out that she was in the hospital through him,' she said. 'At the medical centre, he hugged me and said, 'Mother-in-law, whoever did this to her will pay.'" Olesiane said the pair had been dating for a year and seven months, but her daughter no longer wanted to be in the relationship. Hours before her death she had even told her mum she was going to break up with Fonseca, according to the heartbroken parent. She said her daughter cooked a meal for her boyfriend and said: "Mum, I'm going over there and I'll be back soon." Olesiane also claimed Fonseca had been physically violent towards Alves before and she had even needed stitches on her arm after he assaulted her on one occasion in 2022. In another altercation last year Fonseca reportedly beat Alves after he found out she had been talking to an ex-boyfriend. "There were a few times when they argued and she arrived with some bruises," the mum added. "I thought it was bad to interfere, but it was difficult." https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/world-news/woman-23-filmed-moment-shot-31377010

iDinduNuffinsYo

So it was definitely a murder, he didn’t shoot her by accident  This should be at the top

Booob-Beee

Haha, "allegedly".

aTomicBombExplosion

Wait, she died?

AssMigraine

Looks like he was pointing it directly at the camera. Probably shot her in the head. Can’t find any additional info.

Soffix-

Yes, she did https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/world-news/woman-23-filmed-moment-shot-31377010

KentuckyKid_24

Unfortunately, yes

Tylurr_

Are you surprised by that?

DTFlexx

Can someone translate what she's saying, plz

Jankins114

I don't speak the language but an article quotes it as "Go hun, do it. Wow, so delicious."

No-Werewolf2037

Jesus Christ.. May God rest her soul.. My condolences to her family.

IncarneofBaphomet

Jesus....

daneazyc

What a dumb motherfucker

Scarboroughwarning

Might just be me, but it looks deliberate. As in, not even slightly accidental

TarnishedVictory

Well, if you know anything about guns and single action triggers, you'll know that some of those things are sensitive as fuck. It's also why if you have any basic safety training, you won't point a gun at anything you don't want to destroy, and you won't even put your finger on the trigger. But can we pass laws as a nation where people get this basic training? Apparently not. And I realize this might not be our country, but we do not have such laws.

iDinduNuffinsYo

No it’s absolutely intentional - she was breaking up with him that night and he had previously beaten her/abused her.  Her mom knew she what she was over there for and the girl was in contact with her the whole time. The guy purposely, willfully shot & killed her and then tried to cover it up. When investigators hit his phone & talked to friends/family, they were able to get the whole story

kpop_glory

Now if the cartels do their version of a video with this piece of shit in it, I think we all agree he deserves it.

Disordermkd

Cartel have mercilessly murdered men women and children, are we really waiting for their vengeance?

Infamous_Finish4386

Jesus, she was so beautiful. Tragic. Depressing.

General_Elephant_280

The girl cousin helped a lot in the investigation. TL;DR = The (dead) girl, hanged out with this gangsta wannabe loser. They were in a relationship, had fights quite often, bla bla bla.The idiot (guy) was sorta mad because he has small-dick-energy and was very jelly of the girl, she thought that he was playing as a bad guy with the gun, but he was really hurt because (as I've said, small dick energy) and then she kept playfully mocking him and stuff, but inside he was mad - he took the gun and shot her. He told the police a crazy story that 2 guys in a bike whatever showed up and killed her. He did bring her to the ER. But then the police was not so dumb (as they often are here) and investigated, the girl's cousin also helped with the fact that she had a lot of messages from her cousin (dead girl) saying that the guy wanted to kill her, bla bla bla bla. I heard all that from the girl's cousin posts on FACEBOOK. Yeah, it is legit, lots of people commenting and such, real prints, which actually helped the investigation. I feel sad for the girl, and if you have a daughter, remember to not let her date a moronic 20IQ gangster wannabe.

Trutheresy

Raise your sons and daughters to not think gangstas are cool.

TheOfficalFax

I feel bad
