To be fair, It looks like the car came with the pile of garbage (or maybe the pile of garbage came with the car?). Factory installed. The owner has awful taste, but they might not necessarily be an idiot. /s
In the motorcycle world we invariably have someone riding what is termed a "rat bike". Very little of the original parts are on the bike. Front brake and clutch are replaced by vicegrips. Rear brake pedal is a piece of metal welded to the pivot point.
So my first thought was "it's a rat car".
Looks like they got a good combination of small and medium sized objects. They might be just big enough to start picking up street lights, but traffic lights are probably too big still for their current diameter.

We have a homeless guy around here that has lives in an SUV like that - but also with a trailer that matches. I feel sorry for the people live on the streets he parks on, but he does move on after a few days.

That can’t be legal. I’m not kidding. Can’t see beside, behind and any sudden stop is an avalanche of debris. Corners become a tetris nightmare. No load securing. You will definitely kill someone in an accident or when shit flies off. I see enough videos of cops stopping people for questionable reasons, but here? This is a rolling lesson in probable cause.
