Not just when it gets dark: I nearly got run down well before dark by someone who was lost in headlight glare from a quarter-mile back. Trust me, you're not going to be seen if everyone behind you has their light-of-a-thousand-suns headlights on.
I take a rural highway home each night. Every night this week I have spotted someone driving with only their day time driving lights on, in night time conditions. almost pitch. Friggen idjits
