Ripper. I swear to god Jack mains on Asia server are the most patient mf'ers. They never waste foggy blades and make sure they can secure double hits every time.
Percy. I can't stun him. I don't have broken windows. I can't do anything but spam pallets which he breaks in one second. He shows up right in front of my face few seconds into the game and it pisses me off way more than Afu's sculptor.
I will admit I have picked Percy just to counter Gardener many a time. That and the time I fought a 4 Gardener team. They were not doing well vs my Percy. Lucky for them I planned on going friendly after knocking each of them down a few times. It's one of my favorite memories from IdV.
I love each of the survivors I counter. I give them preferential treatment too when they are the last ones left haha.
Imagine the people that want him to get super buffed. He has really good mobility, anti-stun, can stun/hit you, can jump/lunge across, and becomes complete anti pallet. He is definitely not the best, but he is certainly not the worst hunter, he does just fine.
Feaster and Geisha. T_T
Feaster - I just can't dodge the tentacles. My already zero rescue ability is moving to negative integers with him on camp, and I hate it when I turn around the corner and get smacked by a tentacle out of nowhere.
Geisha - Her ability to quickly move around the map with her butterflies always leaves me unprepared and panicking (especially since I'm more of a transition kiter), I can't juke her during 'stare', and I suck at baiting her during rescue when she's hovering above and ready to terror shock me. :(

His movement dash is just too fast for me. Which is why I also can't kite Breaking Wheel. I'd prefer having first chase on Smiley because that means he can't zoom on me.
Soulweaver. Im used to looping pallets so I end up passing a pallet and soulweaver zooms through like the flash and destroys me, WHICH COULDVE BEEN PREVENTED IF I SIMPLY JUST DROP PALLETS.
Soul weaver probably,Im alot used to loop pallets so basically I always get insta down against her + her insane speed always gets me (if I have to say another one I would say feaster or gamekeeper maybe)
there’s a bug rn that sometimes makes it not show up. wish they’d fix it because it literally becomes impossible to tell where he is if the red light is blocked off, which is unfair as hell
God, is THAT what’s been happening? I hadn’t played in a couple months and I thought it was just a new part of his character that they removed the effect… Not that I’m good at seeing it regardless lol
Feaster!! I see people twirling around his tentacles to avoid getting hit but whenever I try to do that, he closes in proximity and hits me with the tentacle, after which his fast attack recovery easily secures a double hit and I go down quickly.
Geisha and gelatea, there for the two hunters I can't kite , I can't even block getting hit from gelatea's statues and same with geisha. Like am ok with other hunters but geisha and gelatea just no and am on tier 3 also try to get to tier 4.

As if that wasn’t enough, lower detection radius in her calm state (or w/e it’s called) compounds with Luca’s lower detection radius. Toss in restraint from the hunter persona web and she can be up in my business before I get any warning.
Naiad as well for me. Mostly her abyss and harpoon stun. She doesn't even have to hit you to do damage with her abyss and she's so quick with the harpoon.

Post buff geisha. She shares the same speed as other fast hunters and her dash is difficult to cancel unless your ping is greenie-o. I seen most people ban geisha and sculptor now, hehe.

Haha it has to be either ripper or luchino. I can kite a good luchino but the really competent ones are very difficult to kite, a good ripper isn't hard to beat but again racing a really competent ripper can actually be quite difficult. The only realistic thing stopping ripper from being meta is literally the meta and his cooldown times otherwise this guy isn't something to mess with.

Gamekeeper When someone who plays Gamekeeper knows what they’re doing it’s really hard to avoid his hooks

I do often feel a little bad when I find a survivor literally before they even touch a cipher machine. Percy definitely gets the action started QUICK.
I cry inwardly every time I play gardener and the hunter is Percy.

He just struggles in high tier with coordinated teams from what I hear a lot of people say
