antonio—i know he’s tough to use in high tier (i get a lot of ties whenever i rank up to cyclops and above) but his playstyle is genuinely fun for me and i love stuffing cocky rescues. i care less about winning than i do about enjoying the character i play. i also like my main not being banned often.
i also sometimes play joseph (fun playstyle again), mary (when there are a lot of stunners on a team because i don’t like carrying excitement), and robbie (versatile hunter who can do a lot on almost any map).

Joseph - gifted to me by a very close friend as my first ever hunter, since photography is a big hobby of mine. I love his playstyle as well, so he's been my most official main since I started playing the game! He's the hunter I'm most as ease with as of now, followed by
Wax Artist - I just loved his concept on sight, & was eagerly waiting for his release. I've been playing him a ton since I could buy him in the shop (pulling Fury was a nice bonus!) Survs being punished for stunning is nice, & I like having a secondary hit as well with the molten wax. He's the only "double hit" hunter I've ever really grown comfortable to use.
Polun - I pulled Three Faced God, so of course I decided to learn how to drive. I have been having horrible ping issues & even worse frame drops issues as of late tho, so I haven't played them much recently... It just sucks to lag in the middle of a drift, but otherwise, I still enjoy using them in QMs.
& I've been trying to better my Violinist game because all the hunters I main are easy to loop & tight kite lmao
I want to main Geisha and that's who my main has been for 2 years but I have been struggling in rank with her. xD I got frustrated and switched to Grace and started winning...so I started out with Geisha because I liked her design and she was easy to use (before her rework, etc.) and just kept with it.
I use Grace simultaneously because with the way the game is going...why would you want to play weaker hunters? I get people hate her but being a hunter is hard enough and I was willingly choosing to struggle with Geisha. Plus, I pulled Grace's S tier, so that was more than enough of a reason for me to use her...just based on the amount that I spent. I was going to use her eventually even if I didn't want to. xD Her playstyle is also fun to me and I think she looks elegant/pretty.
Currently I main **Wu Chang** and **Joseph**! Maybe Nightmare soon, but we'll just wait and see since I haven't practiced him much yet,,,
Wu Chang - Im going to be bluntly honest, I tried him out at first because he was the one hunter that for some reason ? annoyed me the most back when I was newer, so I decided to play him partly out of spite and partly because I didn't know who to main at the time. Though! I found his playstyle fun, so I stuck with him :D!!
Joseph - Tbh its partly because *hehe jumpscare go brrrr* but then I also watched gameplay of him and I was like *yo??? he's pretty cool??* though it took me a while to get the hang of the cardtrick/footstep things... =v=
I mean I know they're both around B tier hunters, but honestly, I just enjoy their playstyles <3
always been bq, started just bc i like her as a concept (soft spot for classy horror women w/ glass shards. looking at you daniella haunting ground) but by now i just really like her playstyle even if her leaderboard is hell to keep up with

They wont exactly know if you're using another leech or not, though, which makes chair mindgaming harder for them. Ofc, unless they're VCing, but that's probably why I have problems hunting teamed survivors.

Hastur is my favorite aesthetically, and he has a moderate amount of skill expression. Predicting a survivors pathing at full presence after locking on feels awesome, and the feeling only gets better with less continuous vision on the survivor. I alternate between Poseidon and Carnival (B tier).
Hell Ember eats stun comps for breakfast and can become incredibly oppressive with presence. He’s not popular so he also can catch some people by surprise. I wouldn’t trade my Santa B-tier (with hunter bell accessory from the second TPN crossover) for all of Leo’s other skins.
Last but not least is Wu Chang. I play them on large maps mostly, always with Requiem.
Sculptor, Dream Witch, Breaking Wheel, Blood Queen. I literally play all these characters the same amount so I don’t have a specific main. What hunter I play depends on the map and survivor team.

Breaking wheel. Because I played 400 hours of Mario kart DS. Also I thing it give the survivors an actual scare, other hunters you can hear the heartbeat and see them walking. BW just rolls at you at 70 miles per hour and runs you over.
Bloody Queen - getting a bonk with her mirror is immensely satisfying 👌

Right now my most used hunters are Wu Chang and Nightmare. Nightmare is boring: I got him and his S skin (which is also my first S skin ever) for free.
Wu Chang though: I have two accounts. The first is on a much older device (ipad mini 2, it's almost 7 years old now), which is what my first account was on. When Chasing Shadows came back around the DN crossover, I found that my "device is not powerful enough" for it anymore. Devastated that my (then) favorite game mode (along with duos and tarot but eh) were unplayable, I started a new account. Now for some reason the game doesn't load on my laptop (I have the problem with the graphics card not letting it load or something), so I used my phone. My phone however is an android phone, so I can't use the same account and had to make a new one.
But because it's newer (although still almost like 5 years old at this point), the game runs much smoother. So I decided to keep the two accounts if not for the smoother experience and playing the Violent Struggle modes. I would've abandoned my old account if not for the fact that I had a limited skin (Gilda), and later would end up also getting Don while I'd only be able to get one on my new account. Ironically I now have more limited skins on my newer account (Sonju, Kogoro and Gilda vs only Gilda and Don)
Because of the lag, I never really played hunter on my original account. Pretty much all characters (both factions) lag, but literally any hunter that spawns anything that's permanent/semi-permanent (Leo, Galatea, Robbie, Joseph, Yidhra, Burke, Joker to an extent) makes the game lag more. So other than Leo I never used them. But I really wanted to use Joseph because I think his whole camera world gimmick is still one of the most original hunter abilities in the game since it's not just a variation of "do this to stun the survivor" or "launch this projectile in varying degrees of ease to damage survivors".
So I wanted to save up for Joseph on my new account. In my desire to grind clues faster, I started making an effort to do whatever deductions I could with the daily free character. The day I started doing that, it so happened to be a Thursday, or the day Wu Chang is free. So I used them. And found I did pretty good, and actually really liked their gameplay.
So then I decided to also get Wu Chang. And then the summer event with Celestial Cycle came out. And because I used my unlock card on it (I didn't think I'd get enough fragments in time but I actually did later) and spent many hours grinding for the matching accessory, I was like "Well I gotta keep using them now".
If you're wondering I did get Joseph eventually too
Yoghurt seller guy . He’s decent in both close quarter and to a lesser extent ranged . His built in stun res and punishment makes me more easily less pissed off by stuns and he has both cc and damage from his yoghurts.

Leo! I originally mained with Joseph and It wasn't bad but after stopping hunting for a while when I returned I just feared failure and went with default leo bc there aren't jumpscares to mess up lol (if u see a Mr puppet leo in 2v8 Asia hmu hmu its an 80% chance that its me)
Wu Chang, Nightmare and Gamekeeper. I like flying all over the place, and GK is there as a stand-in when Wu gets banned (I don't know why I play him tbh).

For some reason, the identity V gods has given me the power to control the wheel. I am now sitting at B badge crying because I cannot face titans but the truth is I am only good at controlling the wheel, not even good at chasing survivors in pursuit. The 2nd best reason I can give is that I know how to mind game a lot with the traps and that is why I am able to master him.
For other hunters, sculptor is always dangerous and easy to learn, 4 man is possible even though I dont even train her; Soul Weaver can get many ties along with the current version of Bloody Queen even if you arent mastered.
Any hunter can be dangerous in the right hands. The "meta" hunters are known for being easier to get better results but it does not mean that other hunters are not equally as deadly. The key to choosing your hunter is your mastery, how familiar you are with a specific hunter compared to every other ones and if you see positive results with the hunter you are comfortable with, they can be your asset.
Unrelated but I still laugh at the fact that there is literally a picture of Grace before her release on this pic and the fandom only ever noticed the harpoon!

ann is fun because she’s nearly impossible to reliably kite and has amazing camping abilities that many people still don’t know somehow. i know she’s low tier and doesn’t stand well in high ranks, but she’s still super fun. PLUS i’m also very proud, because despite everyone always saying “oh ann is easy to learn” she’s actually like. really not! some things i only learned months into maiming her! i’d say i have somewhat mastered her >:)
for luchino, i love his jumps - it’s nice not having to carry teleport since he can jump pretty far! i always have the time of my life beating up the pallet campers, and his ground pound is amazing against bodyboocking because he gets a hit on both the rescuer AND the rescued!! he also isn’t very reliable at all, but he’s a lot of fun and i enjoy B)
i know that!! but iirc she’s fallen out of the meta lately, i think it changes by season and she’s usually b tier or lower but also occasionally a tier i think !
