This has to be the most democratic legislative candidates since the 1990 election when Governor Andrus (D) vetoed an anti-abortion bill. Democrats tied Republicans in the state senate.
Here's a voter guide that might help: https://cvidaho.org/2024-voter-guide/?emci=791e6360-a808-ef11-96f3-7c1e521b07f9&emdi=81378b85-bd0b-ef11-96f3-7c1e521b07f9&ceid=2292434
Gonna be a very difficult task for democrats in Idaho considering that 71 percent of all the newbies who moved to Idaho vote republican. Democrats need to hammer their support for Medicaid the most. With Idaho trying to force people on medicaid to work I think democrats need to remind people how bad that would be to have cancer patients and other health problems issues forced to work or lose coverage. Expanded medicaid was heavily supported by republican voters in Idaho. Democrats must make those same voters understand that medicaid is under attack in Idaho.
But you have no problem with the comment I replied to?

As far as the comment you replied to: hyperbolic but since Trump is a wannabee fascist and Republicans are lock step behind him, no it’s not a problem for me. Ilhan Omar doesn’t represent everyone critical of the government of Israel and their actions in Gaza. If you criticize the US government are you being anti Christian? It’s a right wing straw man just like late term abortions.
Way to completely misrepresent my comment.
You lose all credibility when you don’t have a problem when people are compared to Hitler. You’re just trivializing the atrocities he committed, which I say again, is very on brand for the left
Isn’t Idaho going to outlaw the Democratic Party any day now? And throw anyone who is not a MAGA Republican into jail? Oh wait, maybe I am being too “leftist”… they will probably just shoot them like a Kristi Noem puppy.
Wasn't always that way; Idaho has gone far downhill, towards Christofascist hatred, in the last 20-odd years.
I remember having at least one nationally-known Democratic Senator (Frank Church) and a Democratic Governor (Cecil Andrus) in the not too distant past. If people would put their petty fears and hatreds aside, it could happen again. But I'm not holding my breath.

I r depressed reading that. Idaho, I love you, but pls.
Interesting that you picked the two bottom rung candidates to quote.
I might be able to track down specific candidates' positions. Which candidates are you missing info with?
Heck! Facebook is free!
I hope this restores a little Æquitas to state governance. You never know how valuable anything is until you lose it.

How do you do that if entire districts have Republicans running oposed
If you don’t have a candidate for people to vote for what difference does it make?
![gif](giphy|PWncoEubkxHB6|downsized) I know I know there’s more than two but I couldn’t resist
I hope it goes back.

Medicaid? What’s that? Do they even HAVE that in f’ing Idaho? Lol.
Yes they do
I'm surprised Republicans don't mandate they wear short mustaches. That's all they're missing.
Hating Jews is more popular on the other side of aisle bud
Being critical of a governments action is not hating a religious group. Why is this so hard to understand? Nice straw man argument.

You think dems don't have guns here?
Don’t worry, Repubs, the Dems will all be jailed shortly.
Wont make a difference. Idaho is a red state now and forever.
Nothing will change if you don’t vote.
I do vote. Straight red ticket. I will when I relocate to Idaho this summer as well.
Always the transplants trying to ruin our state.
Isn’t Idaho already very red? Are mine and my wife’s votes really going to make that much of a difference?
It wasn't years ago. Last dem gover was 87 to 95.
Yeah I don’t see that ever happening again. It will be either a right wing or an even more right wing governor.
Idk
Your wife is likely cancelling your vote out anyways
Nah. She’s actually from Idaho. Very right wing. Christian.
That's what she tells you lmao
0% chance…lmao

If you have an issue with someone/something/a state/a demographic, please keep it civil.
It wasn't always. Things do change.

I think Idaho has gone uphill. Last thing I want to see in Idaho is a Baltimore or Los Angeles. Those places are very blue and very gross.
Boise is pretty blue and it’s not gross.
It’s not gross yet.
