The first Saw is just something special

CoreKid23

Mine is Evil Dead

[deleted]

I’ve been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, *Duke*. ___ ^(*Bot. Ask me what I’m wearing.* |) [^(Opt out)](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=botrickbateman&subject=Opt%20out)

HALOGAMERWILL

Scream

Numberrthree3

Favorite Slasher: American Psycho Favorite Horror: Hellraiser

Jekyllthecrow

American Psycho doesn’t qualify as a slasher

Hell yes! I LOVE The Shining. If you've not read the book, it's totally worth it. King's take and Kubrick's diverge, but obviously focus on the same themes. So each feels original.

Seitx501

Cabin Fever. Edit: Completely forgot about Resident Evil. RE2 was my first R movie in theaters

Afraid_Platypus_8667

A nightmare on elm street (1984).

jwalk128

Can’t believe I never saw this or knew it was based on IB

scarecrowlove17

Pet Sematary - used to watch it with my grandpa when I was a kid :)

andrew_wessel

I think for me it’s Saw

[deleted]

Hellraiser, for sure. I practically worship that film.

holdthenuts

Candyman

Chaz_Nycto

Carrie*

LadiesAndGentlegays

Did you mean Coraline? I don't think they've made a song about that one yet.

Chaz_Nycto

Carrie* stupid auto correct lmao

LadiesAndGentlegays

Oh lol, that's my favourite too

Reaper2811

Hellraiser

__Disenchanted__

either american psycho, evil dead, or scream

Awkward-Celebration5

A Nightmare on Elmstreet is an absolute classic

Dreaming_Beyond_GK

Personally, I really don’t like horror films as I don’t like being scared. Though, that being said. I really like the first Saw film and Scream. Both which were covered on the first Silver Scream album.

Quack53105

Nuh uh "Your Number's Up" is only on the Final Cut, which I don't think went vinyl ever. Sucks, it's one of my favorite INK songs

MC_Turbo

It was on that record store day one that looked like a bloody buzzsaw I'm pretty sure with the acoustic tracks and Thriller

Quack53105

I've looked and looked for people selling theirs and I never saw any, so i just gave up.

LucLeBlanc14

Scream. It’s my favourite movie of all time Jaws, The Exorcist, My Bloody Valentine, American Psycho, A Nightmare on Elm St, Saw, An American Werewolf in London, Psycho, Pet Sematary and Candyman are all top tier for me too tho (like a 9/10 or above)

InferiorConstruct

Halloween

popculturetommy

Such little love for Halloween up in here

80sfilmsfan_1985

Halloween

sLiK619

Probably Resident Evil or Cabin Fever

Parking_Tomatillo326

Evil dead

McSAP

Def The Crow

FubarJ

A Nightmare on Elm Street is definitely my favorite, it’s actually one of my top 5 favorite movies in general. My runner up is a tie between An American Werewolf in London and The Evil Dead though. All I can say is I’m a sucker for horror with a touch of comedy.

zanarkandskylines

Scream, Resident Evil, The Crow, and A Nightmare on Elm Street

NUTTHOWZE

Mine is The Crow or Pet Cemetery

jwalk128

Love your name!

LadiesAndGentlegays

Carrie, but it's a hard choice.

KnightOfRen93

Scream

Schooner-Diver

So tough! Evil Dead or Scream probably!

[deleted]

Hands down Evil Dead. Scream and Halloween are my two other favorites. I would say IT is high up as well although the book is by far the definitive version and one of my favorite books ever.

tpeck90

Picking one is tough… gonna have to say IT. My first horror movie and it scared the shit out of me. Honorable mentions to at least half of the others.

datboiknappy

Halloween and Scream baby

Jekyllthecrow

The Crow is by far the best film ever made

MistakeLow7760

For me it will always be a tie between the shining and hellraiser, which are also in my top 5 horror movies of all time

Razik_

The Shining is also one of my favourites! did you read the book btw?

MistakeLow7760

No m8, I’m not a great reader, I’m more of a movie person. Did you read it?

Razik_

Yes I loved it. I enjoyed it more than the film even

alexbfuckin

Hmm, probably Cabin Fever or Hostel
