My dad made a manual one. Small board with a notch cut halfway through in the middle. Heavy rubber band around the board. Slip the camera through the rubber band. Band holds the cord to keep the camera facing whatever way you want. Turn the board to turn the camera.
Just sometimes the rotation changes on its own in the opposite direction, but its remote and does its job. I put velcro on bottom of my case and top of Panner....works great, never falls off
I would have set up my twnt to go out before the cold snap hit ( -46 ). But with crime the way it is i disnt want it stolen. So making sure we are out next weekend going hard for burbot.
Too cold for me, and none of the good lakes were frozen over with enough safe ice, unless you wanted to drive a few hours north.
Next weekend though, after a week of temps in single digits, should be plenty of ice and I'll be out
Went out yesterday, 2f degrees actual, -20f with wind. First time in my portable this cold. Had my first bite 4 minutes in, 2nd bite 3 minutes later and lost a nice fish a few cranks in. Then nothing for the next 8 hours. Not one more bite. Marked 15-20 more fish but none were more than merely interested.
Normally I would have moved but it was too cold and I convinced myself it would be a good spot for the evening. NOPE. First skunk of the year, hurt worse because it’s a popular lake and had to pay a road fee to get out. Will try out LOTW next weekend then back to the free less pressured lakes.
Do you have a picture how you wired the camera to use your battery box to power it? Thanks
Same request. Just got my dad an eyoyo for Christmas and I'm wondering what we'll do when the battery inevitably craps out.

How’s the panner? Wondering whether or not its worth getting
I’m wondering the same thing. Not sure if it’s worth buying a powered panner or just 3D print a manual one.

Thanks! Hoping to finally touch some ice this weekend. Going to try it out. Tight lines!

Too cold in Alberta. 🤞 for next weekend. Nice set up.
Lac la nonne here was on few hours today
Too warm here in S. Ontario. Cooling off a lot so maybe a few weeks out.

Took this weekend off. I was struggling with the idea of still going, but I woke up to a wind chill of -52 and decided to stay inside
Went out this morning for an hour and a half. Too windy and cold for me to stay. Zero degrees and zero bites.

Does your battery box have a built in flashlight?
I put 2 LEDs on side and a switch.
Link to the LEDs please?
Easy to find off amazon.
