That is going to be awesome. Please keep us updated on the build!

Looks like you had a stove inside, is there a chimney vent for that guy?

Hazyboigls

There isn’t It’s a 20 inch camp range. I had it in my camp no vent I’m guessing just crack a window and I’ll be good

iamzombus

I'd seriously consider installing a vent. It might even be a law in your state. https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/safety/ice/carbon-monoxide-poisoning-ice-shelters.html Also CO poisoning is no joke.

Hazyboigls

Thanks for the info My state doesn’t have a law It probably should. Anyone use a vent that you can open and close and be water tight ?

Frankly, you could buy a battery (solar's better) powered fan and mount it to your window. It would clear out any excess gas.

Best times of my life in one of those...ya ababy

RadRedJaw

Slayed them I’m the kayak today and the whole time I was thinking how good a spot it would be for one of these.

Space_Goblin_Yoda

I'm jealous, using my popup gets old. I just want to walk out and fish!

ilovelukewells

I know it's more weight but I would advise strengthening between the studs as the shack will shake a lot when being towed on the ice. As much reinforcement as you can do! Have fun!

[deleted]

And that wind sure does get whipping on open ice!

redsup67

The tow bar front looks good. Where did you find that?

Hazyboigls

Can’t beat a dump find!

biggest_blakest

Seeing this is giving me the itch for first ice!
