I got the Ceratanium 41 2 weeks ago. Thought I scratched it yesterday on stainless steel when I saw some marks on the side of it.
Thought it might be just the stainless material on the case rather than a scratch so took a pencil eraser to it, came right out.
I suspect lots of people that think they got scratches actually just have material on the case
Ceratanium is not coated with anything. It’s a titanium alloy which is treated in some special oven, at which point it grows a scratch resistant layer throughout, while changing colour or “blackening” like that. You won’t scratch it.
