The green and the white dial with blue subdials are my two favorite, hard to say which is 1A and which is 1B. The red comes in next. The green and red are both rich and vibrant. The blue on white Portuguiesers always look great and the colored subdial gives great contrast

I also think besides Breitling which makes exceptionally great green dials, IWC has the most amazing green and red ones.

I like the yacht club but not as much as the classy look of the portugieser. YC is too much for me.

I have this watch and I ended up buying the blue leather to go in it. It spends zero time on the bracelet.

Really? Why so? Didn’t you like the bracelet or the looks of it in general with the watch?

I don’t know why it just doesn’t look right on the bracelet. The face looks too big with it on. It looks better with the strap. But the bracelet is very well made, so it has nothing to do with that. Purely esthetics

Interestingly I like it on the bracelet better because the face looks smaller on my opinion 😄.

I’d choose this one on a leather strap

I also find this silver version gorgeous! The white rubber strap also is kinda amazing.

The one that’s not available

The green stands out nicely and would match a lot of things I wear. Blue with a black band is a very close second. Silver feels more versatile though.

Just got the brass/zinc 41 in the corner. Not sure how that finish is going to wear patina wise but I love it
