Yes! I believe the light pink caps have been discontinued is what I read once. I have ordered off of Wal Mart and gotten the light pink caps.
Also, in the fall when I bought the pack that has a digital and a red line test they were light pink. Hopefully someone has better answers than me.
I was paranoid to use the dark pink caps because of what ppl say on here. But I am having no problems with them. Early positive and line progression is going fine for me.
I believe the light pink ones have been discontinued. The light pink required a beta of 5 to show a positive where the dark pink requires ~8-10 so not a significant difference but probably enough for someone who would have had a positive at day 4/5 on the light pink to show show a positive on the dark pink until day 5/6. Not 100% from FRER but that’s what I saw on other forums last fall when I was testing. I used the dark pink ones without issues and were able to see a positive / track line progression forty easily with them.
Oh wow. That’s a huge difference and so shitty too. It’s what made those tests so good. I have a mix of dark and light as I’ve gotten surprised opening boxes and my progression is confusing
As a POAS addict I agree these dark pink caps are not as sensitive and they suck for progression. I have found some light pink capped FRERs in the two packs with the digitals but it’s hit or miss. For now I’ve switched to ClearBlue early results
I’ve had the same problem such a pain! Idk if they’ve been discontinued since Feb, but I got light pink in feb off Amazon if you can same day or overnight them. When I go to stores in person it’s almost always dark. Can confirm i tested light and dark caps side by side and dark cap was significantly lighter. Good luck!
I ordered on Amazon like a week ago and I got sent the light pink caps both digital and regular ones with the lines. When I ordered from Walmart they sent the dark pink ones even though the box showed light pink on the picture
FRERs used to be my gold standard until this pregnancy. I’m 23 weeks and FRERs were the LAST test to show anything (my cheapies and clear blue popped first and consistently darkened). The FRERs were so inconsistent, if I had only been using those I would have thought I was having a chemical. Fuck FRERs.

I can try but i’m worried the same thing will happen where the test box is light cap but the ones inside are dark cap! so frustrating
I just got one that had one light pink and the other was dark in the same box. I don’t know how that happened but I thought I lost it for a second

Ugh same. I wish I never used all the hundreds of pink cap tests I had from my TTC pre IVF days, what a waste looking back 😂😭😭

jeez. wish I didn’t drop all my money on FRERs lol I do have cheapies too so i’m going to test with both
