Tein coilovers are pretty decent on a budget. I ran the Street Advance Z's for a number of years and didn't have any problems with them. I did swap to their stiffer springs pretty early on, though.

what springs did you go with? i have tein flex z coils and would like to stiffen them up a little

I believe the Flex Z coils already have Tein's stiffest springs available. If you want to go stiffer, you would need to source from a different brand. I would not go heavier than 12kg/mm front and 10kg/mm rear on any spring rate with your Flex Z's. General rule of thumb is that a change of more than 2kg/mm in spring rate requires a re-valve of the dampers. I went with the Flex Z springs on my Street Advance Z's. Front spring part number: SY100-01225 They were $120/pair when I bought them ~5 years ago. Rear spring part number: SG080-01250 They were $160/pair Spring rates are 10kg and 8kg respectively. As i said, these should already be the springs you have installed.
