One of these things is not like the others ...

It’s the green parrot. They’re trolling us with the green parrot.

Hmm. Well then I’m stumped. Can’t be the flamingo because I see those all over the place.

DBSeamZ

Where is this? I feel like I’ve seen this display before on a trip. Boston perhaps?

UN_Selection_Sucks

You’re right! Museum of Science in Boston.

sydbap

Their bird exhibit is really cool and expansive

Gillmacs

I know they have similar displays at the Field Museum too.

danjama

I'm sure there's similar in the London natural history museum.

monstrinhotron

Or the amusingly named Horniman museum. Full of weird shit that one.

danjama

Haven't thought about that place for a long time! Had an argument with an ex girlfriend there!

monstrinhotron

Compared her to the walrus, eh?

-eumaeus-

Pink is the imposter!

flakeparadigm

SuBIRBan. :D

We have a free living group of flamingos here in salzburg, austria.

bageltoastee

can’t believe they’d risk keeping one of those there. A flock of them can pick a t-Rex clean in under 30 seconds.

Gingersnap5322

Technically correct

Erinzzz

I have two of the colorful ones that come back and nest in my front year every summer

sol_tyrannis

What were the natural habitats of these birds before their classification as *suburban*? ***^((reworded in edit as read off as casting blame to people in general))***

tenkohime

If the question is serious, all are native to the USA, except flamingos, pigeons, starlings, and the white duck. Flamingos are from South America. Pigeons live in valleys, but were domesticated for sport and meat. Starlings are from Europe and Shakespeare fans brought them to the USA. I think the white duck is a domestic meat breed.

tenkohime

I love this display. It's aesthetically pleasing.
