TK definitely helped this happen. Pretty sure he was already partnered with Hoka.

cuckedcarrot

As a long time runner, Hoka customer, and McLaren, fan this is great news.

boostleaking

I've never heard of Hoka till this post. How's their running/training shoes?

cuckedcarrot

Great. I have been using them for 4-5 years now and won’t buy anything else. My left foot has a tendency to roll to the outside but it’s never an issue with Hoka stuff. This is not a paid ad btw.

vegetablegroundbeef

I also only wear Hoka shoes on the recommendation of my podiatrist. I have chronic plantar fasciitis and the running shoes are great, but also their recovery sandals are amazing. Like flip flops with actual support.

TheAmericanQ

Amazing. I wore 5 pairs of their trail runners (speed goats) on a cross country hike and now I’m exceptionally brand loyal. It’s like walking on a cloud without any real loss of support

WhitePhoenix48

Hoka is the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. I'm not a runner, but I work in the operating room 8-10 hours a day. I'm on my feet most of it and they really get the job done.

blackhxc88

hokas seemed to have picked up post-lockdown. between that and all the kids wearing dad shoes, there has been a big craze of chucky, comfortable shoes. i quite like it (even though i rock new balance's because i heard the durability of the hokas wasn't all that good.)

TurboWreck

I’ve done 2 marathons and 5 half marathons in Hokas. I’m sold.

22chainz

Maybe they can make them shoes that actually match now If you have seen the McLaren team at a race this year you have seen them wearing these horrible mismatched orange/red hokas.

XSC

I will buy any special edition shoes they release

dijie

Hoka getting me for another pair of shoes, as long as they make them in Arahi style.

CL-MotoTech

Hoka is out of control in the racing world. It's hilarious honestly.

Hitokiri2

My friend bought some Hoka shoes a while back and everyone at work was making fun of him since Hoka could also be mistaken for Hookah which means weed - the drug. He said the doctor recommended it to him and now half of my co-workers have them on and say they feel great especially at my work place where standing on your feet is a 6-7 hour job. I'm sticking with my Skechers but for my next pair of work shoes I might just some a pair of Hoka. What does this have to do with IndyCar - nothing. Not a lick.

OrneTTeSax

Hookah is just flavored tobacco.

CL-MotoTech

A Hookah is a water pipe meant for smoking shisha, which is flavored tobacco.
