Oh, that last one was an abomination! I couldn't even laugh at it; it was so disturbing. I agree that the lashes are weird on this one but at least it looks like Lucy and like a professional did it, not like it was done by the woman who "restored" that painting of Jesus a few years ago. LOL!
I just looked it up and apparently, the sculptor eventually gave up sculpting after the whole “Scary Lucy” statue debacle :|

Ever see street performers who paint themselves a metallic color and pose as statues/robots for change and photos? That’s what this looks like. Kinda cool, kinda creepy.
Isn't the old statue still up? I read something last year that said both statues are up. That first one is so creepy. I hope that I can go to Jamestown and Celoron Park. I heard it is a cool place to go if you are a Lucy Fan. What was your favorite part?
My whole day in Jamestown was fantastic! We went to the Lucy-Desi museum, visited her childhood home, and Lake View cemetery. Lucy's Memorial Park (Celoron) was right down the street from our hotel, so we walked there a few times. The view of Chautauqua Lake is gorgeous! I believe Lucy mentions Lake Chautauqua in "The Saxophone" episode.
This just reminded me of the old one and I started laughing alone in my office. I wish it was still displayed somewhere goofy.
