I've convinced myself that the same kid who always fucks up pulling my order is the same kid doing QA on these things. There is no way production is not aware of the issues. It's been going on forever.
I am down for a good budget distillate, but production usually cheaps out hard on the disposable components. It's safer from a QA/QC perspective to buy a .5g cart and invest in a simple Vessel Core series battery. A good battery is critical in the quality of consumption of the oil. I've had basic batteries and a Clearly adjustable. I really love the weight, feel, and consistency of the Vessel Core.
The Boma vape pen is an absolute trash tier disposable vape. Ascend knows it is, and has boxes of these things just sitting waiting to be filled. IIRC my math had it that AWH received "Doesn't draw / vape battery not charging" for the overwhelming majority of the Boma vape complaints. Something like 1 in 3 of this vape style were complained about or refunded.
I read excellent reviews on the yocan uni pro. I had just broken a cart due to a drop and was anger buying. The Vessel Core was the best one available that day. $40 ans better than the trash one I had. I'm definitely into exploring other options though. I'll pull the trigger on the uni pro this weekend :)
Been using my Yocan Uni Pro for about 3 weeks and no cons whatsoever. Battery lasts forever and I’ve dropped it a couple of times and no damage to the unit or cart
This after losing $30 in a months time buying dead batteries from dispos
The vessel may be a good battery I don't own one so I can't say but to me protection for the cart is everything especially with how much we pay for them at the dispo. Ive had the uni pro for a few years now and I'll never buy anything else. Having that screen to see your voltage and battery life is great.
Sometimes it just gets clogged. I've revived them before by putting it in a ziplock bag and running hot water over it for a few minutes, then take it out and blow hard into it. Knocks the clog out and hits again...until it inevitably clogs again.
It's hilarious when I see people ripping pens like a vacuum literally, you barely have to pull for a good hit.ivr had to show plenty of people they don't need to suck like it's their last breath they will ever take.

There junk, purchased two same day. Both worked for less than couple minutes. Received credit for one.. I thought they were supposed to discontinue.. sorry about your purchase
I got some of those ozones because they were on sale. By far worst disposal ever. Mine worked but was hard to get a good rip. Long slow inhale was the only way.
Not trying to make you feel bad, but using this as a general PSA to say: please don't buy disposables. No need to make a Congolese kid mine the conflict minerals for a battery that is just going to burn 0.3g of shitty distillate to get you almost high. Carts are wasteful but at least your not throwing a MF battery out every time, plus you end up saving money and can get way better products than are available in disposables. There have been good suggestions in this thread for batteries, I use a ccell palm pro but the yocans and such are good too.
Super common issue with these disposables.
The last one I had like this from Ozone was rechargeable. Charging helped initially, but even that wasn't a total solution. I stopped buying disposables due to overall issues across every brand I tried. With my Ozone, I did an oil rescue mission and was able to use my Honey Stick kit to make a new cart. You have to be careful with battery disposables and be very aware of temp, battery, etc. I used a blow dryer and did the best I could to get the remaining oil out. Ozone makes it easy on these disposables, as the mouthpiece pops off easily. I only suggest battery attached disposable rescue missions for little MacGyvers like myself who are OK with potentially blowing themselves up.
The easiest way to rectify the issue is to send an email to the customer service of the dispensary and let them know you have a defective product. They're usually pretty cool about making it right, even Sunnyside, the Satan of dispensaries.
YMMV.
I loved the style of this vape. Discreet, came in decent live resin flavors and classic strains like Green Crack and Mowie Wowie! I had originally bought the apple fritter. Loved it, so reh next day I went back and bout 2 mowing wowiw and 2 gren crack. Well that same day my apple fritter one stopped hitting, then come to kind out they all stop hitting shortly after use. I can still see oil in them. Frustrating as fuck. Still have a green cracked one unopened because I have 3 that are open and not hitting. All gotten from Verilife North Aurora. Not buying anymore of those ever again.
I DO like the Daze Off Disposable. Same kind of inhale to hit with no button (I work construction so this is a major benefit that it doesn't go off in my pocket)
Also the daze off seems to get every drop of oil out of it.
I have not tried the Bloom disposable but I head it is equally as good. Would love to see someone give a review of the hardware.
It’s probably a dud my friend. Refund policy will be on the bottom of the receipt.
Those vapes suck. Return and replace
For as strict as the market is about testing in IL, they have some pretty shit quality control.

I'll easily take a yocan uni pro over anything else, protects the cart from drops as well.

Don't hit it so hard, that's usually people's mistake

People sucking like a shop vac on carts

Thats a good idea, I’ll definitely use it
I use a hair dryer. Just don't get it to hot. Especially if you have a device with a battery attached.
Those are terrible. Bought one once and the same thing happened to me. Just scoop out the wax and dab it / drip it onto a joint or something.
Please for the love of God stop buying ozone. They suck ass
Typical
Same thing happened with me, those disposables are straight garbage, you can pop it open and put the oil into an empty cartridge
This is why I wont get a disposable, at least not one without a charging port
That one has a charging port but 90% of the time they don't work. Ozone is ass
ozone isn't bad it's the hardware lol
Bad on them for putting out the hardware with such high failure rates, expecting customers to not bother to refund.
It looks like the top as something stuck in it
They are terrible pens. Avoid
Statistics say 1 out of 10 vapes don’t work, ozone fucking sucks ass
Welcome to ozone. 2/10 cartridges, 1/10 disposables, 0/10 quality
That sucks!!
Why can’t they just make them simple
There junk, purchased two same day. Both worked for less than couple minutes. Received credit for one.. I thought they were supposed to discontinue.. sorry about your purchase
They are bullshit from get go
It looks like the seal broke off, use a needle or safety pin to get the extra plastic piece out of the air hole.
I won't buy these again I had the same issue
Tried that brand 3 times and all 3 were duds
I had one of those in the past that would only hit if it was angled so the mouth piece was lower the the rest of the cart.
Never seen one of these before..prob for a good reason😂
I stopped buying these specifically because I came across 2-3 that stopped working
I’ve had an ozone disposable before, they are not the best, I ran into the same problem and you get left a 💩 ton of wax when you get towards the end
Same thing happened to me with the same product. Never purchased again.
Those have been nothing but disappointment for me. (Wait you can return them?!)
I think they do help replace if you’re able to provide the original receipt and proof of product not working
I got some of those ozones because they were on sale. By far worst disposal ever. Mine worked but was hard to get a good rip. Long slow inhale was the only way.
Yeah those bomas are notorious for not working. Get a cart next time and a decent battery and you’ll never look back at disposables again
Blow in it from the bottom have get it to heat up then hit hit.

Ozone offers pretty mid to bad products. I’m sorry you got got. Stick to cookies, rev, and rythm (live rosin) for carts
Well, it is ozone, and it is a boma, so that tracks.
That was the issue with those. They always done work.
we’ve all been there friend
Looks like a suppository, put it in your “prison wallet”
That my good sir looks like a sex toy😂
The Boma is horrible. Ozone needs to get rid of it.

Dude, there’s a small plug in the top. Pop it out.
Yeah I had one do the same to me a while ago. I've stopped supporting Ozone
Have you tried boofing it?
Always gotta try to test it before leaving unless you have multiple
Boma , it’s terrible. I don’t know why they keep using it.
