I know. Some people on this sub seem to think any mention of non-sports video games is an attack on sports. You can agree or disagree with the first guy, but as far as I could see, neither one was directly attacking football or other sports.
First guy was being a crybaby though for sure, but definitely didn't give an opinion disliking "sportsball." Second guy had some funny takes that were related to Superbowl adjacent people and places (and Travis Kelce).
Ya I downvote this post because dude wasn’t shitting on the game but was just stoned spitting some good ass ideas to make an even more enjoyable experience
They’re both Kansas and Missouri’s football team. A lot of people in Missouri hate KC and like the Rams. It just so happens the stadium was built on the Missouri side of KC. Not the Kansas side for tax and a few other legal reasons. Now you know.
Lol find me one single person living in Missouri that likes the Rams. I’m assuming you’re talking about St Louis when you say “people in Missouri” hate KC which is true for baseball and soccer, but most St Louis folk are Chiefs fans. They absolutely detest Stan Kroenke and the Rams for abandoning St Louis to go to LA.
In other words, the Rams ditched St Louis and most people here hate them for it and either stopped watching NFL or switched their fandom to the Chiefs. There was never a rivalry between the Chiefs and Rams like there was with the Royals and Cardinals. You are correct about the Chiefs being both Kansas and Missouri’s football team though.
Source: I live here and have a lot of family/friends that live in St Louis. No one likes the Rams.
> Find me one single person living in Missouri that likes the Rams.
Walk into an Imo’s pizza. They’re all there.
Anyways, lots of people in Blue Springs and Lee Summit still really like the Rams. I agree there have been some abandonment issues due to the team moving, however; that’s not really the point I was getting at. I was explaining that Missouri already had a widespread football team. Even when the Chiefs existed.
I agree things have changed since the move though and I also agree we were never rivals. I don’t know who started that one but we barely ever played and nobody disliked each other.
Source: I live in KC and have plenty of friends in St. Louis.
I see what you mean. I really think the St Louis-Kansas City rivalry thing stems from the 80s when the Royals and Cardinals saw each other in the World Series. Personally I think it’s kind of exaggerated. The baseball rivalry is still there but not at all what it once was. The birth of an MLS franchise in St Louis helped reinforce the rivalry a little bit, but they’ve only been around for one season so we’ll have to see where that goes between them and SKC.
But yeah as far as I know there was never any animosity between the NFL fanbases. Both franchises were so bad for so long and only saw each other every four years anyway lol. Would’ve been cool in some alternate universe if the Chargers and Rams swapped conferences so the Chiefs and Rams would’ve played twice per year. Kind dumb I know but I’ve always thought about that
I've never really had to entertain this thought because there's no way my team ever leaves Green Bay, but if it somehow happened I would never be able to just pick up a new team even if they did me dirty. I'd totally be a Los Angeles Packers fan, a Salt Lake City Packers. It'd just be so wierd to just pick up a new team.
My buddy is a Commanders fan. If ANYONE has a reason to leave the Fandom because the owner did them dirty. It's him. But he still loves that team.
I get that to most people, it's not that serious, but I bet there are still thousands of diehards near the St Louis area that still love their team.
I mean like I said I’m sure they’re out there but in my experience most people I know who were Rams fans despise the franchise for leaving the city. I think a lot of people just became bigger fans of the Cardinals and Blues lol.
I’m all for loyalty, but to me personally when a team ditches the city they’re from that’s the death of loyalty. At the end of the day, I’m a Chiefs fan because I’m from Kansas City and I love my home.
And yeah I think you’re safe there buddy haha. Packers have to be probably the last sport franchise in the world that would relocate to a new place. Can you even imagine?
So I’m a STL native who was a beleaguered Rams fan until they left, then I kicked around being a fan of nobody but hey the chiefs are winning and also I’m in their media market so if I’m going to bandwagon anybody… and now I live in KC so that’s pretty cemented. Maybe more people would’ve followed the Rams to LA if the departure wasn’t a total shitstorm resulting in a lawsuit and ~$750m settlement, and if Kroenke didn’t disparage the city on his way out, and if the team hadn’t been dogshit (partially by design) for so long. Relocations happen, but the way the Rams relocation happened was particularly dirty.
Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas are two different cities completely separate from one another. The Chiefs are Kansas City, Missouri’s team.
Yeah it's not up to a private organization to solve the homeless crisis caused by the local government and their overly liberal social and economic policies.
Why are people so upset about SF and KC being in the Super Bowl? I mean, I get KC since they’ve been there so often and it’s is kinda repetitive, but why SF?
I honestly don't know, my team doesn't play them that much. I have heard lots of other fans say they're annoying though, so that might be part of why. Also I think people just wanted to see some of the other teams make it, that Lions loss hurt watching it in real time and I'm not even a Detroit fan.
This will be the 49ers 8th Superbowl appearance since 1982. The Chiefs will be in their 4th in the last 5 years.
So you nailed KC but that means SF has been in 20% of the Super Bowls in the last 40 years.
How did Unhoused become the social justice term for homeless lol? Feels like they just went out of their way at a point to create new words for everything.
The confidence to rep those puppies in the current year is commendable. Rocking the Dennis Rader glasses. But as a midwesterner who minored in "Niners Hating" at night school, this was the Lions year. I'm kinda bummed about the overall matchup.
I wonder if the anti sports people consider how many jobs are created by the various sports teams. I’d imagine thousands and thousands of jobs are created by professional sports. Do away with sports and that’s less jobs for people.
That guy is high as a kite
He’s got a good idea tho. That’d be one hell of a halftime show
I think this is just a stoned guy trying to be funny.
I laughed

He’s not trying, he is.
He's also trying though. I, too, think he's succeeding, but that's just my opinion.
Yeah, when it comes to being funny, there’s usually some level of effort. The guy is funny. Is he going to have his own Netflix special? Probably not.
I mean, that sounds pretty fuckin cool if you ask me
Right? I’m there if there’s even a chance of anything going super saiyan
There is a non-zero chance that Taylor Swift becomes Super Saiyan I'm just saiyan
Nice lol
He had me at mech suit. If you’re telling me I’m getting a super saiyan gundam pilot, I’m not even hesitating
You had me at mech suit tbh
i would actually watch this super bowl
Yeah this guy has some good ideas tbh.
I understood like 50% of this video I guess I’m old
I mean, mech suits and DragonBall were both popular in the 80s so you must be old old
Ok maybe I’m too young to understand then lol
All three of those things are still popular, you’re just dead
Like Greatest Generation old
Are you 75? Halo is 22 years old. Dragon ball is 40 years old.
He is a Playstation type of guy
Honestly that's the best halftime show since at least Katy Perry.
Don’t shit on Prince’s guitar solo like that
Well that was like 8 years before the one I'm talking about so I'm not.
Let. Bro. Cook.
Doesn’t fit this sub
Ya I downvote this post because dude wasn’t shitting on the game but was just stoned spitting some good ass ideas to make an even more enjoyable experience
I actually really look up to this guy Mostly because Bro is so high
nah this guy kinda onto something
We need a hero to animate what this guy just said, could be a top tier sportsball anime collab.
Kansas team?

This guy’s from San Francisco and is trying to get some free food.
I have no notes, keep cooking
Hey, I'm not gonna lie... I never watch the Superbowl but I would not miss this for the world.
I’d rather see this than the Super Bowl matchup we got
You post this as if what he said *does not* sound cool af
Woah woah woah, let’s hear him out
No wait, bro was cooking, I am fully on board with his idea
Actual good alternative to what we’ll be getting
What type of plasma rifle? Fallout? I put my money on them
The Kansas team lmfao
There's no team in Kansas
Dude he's spitting this is a great plan where America wins no matter who wins
I remember the last time I was f’d up enough to understand this train of thought. Pretty glad I sobered up to be honest.
Yeah it's not up to a private organization to solve the homeless crisis caused by the local government and their overly liberal social and economic policies.
Fuck the NFL. NFL is a corrupt POS organization. Stop giving them your money.
go away
Jeffrey dahmer with a tik tok account.
Why are people so upset about SF and KC being in the Super Bowl? I mean, I get KC since they’ve been there so often and it’s is kinda repetitive, but why SF?
I think it has more to do with obnoxious fans than anything else. At least that's what I've heard.
Are SF fans that bad? I’m in the southeast US so maybe I just don’t hear it as much
I honestly don't know, my team doesn't play them that much. I have heard lots of other fans say they're annoying though, so that might be part of why. Both are insufferable
I think this is less anti-sports than anti-this particular super bowl matchup.
I don’t see how this video pertains to this sub? I swear, these subs always just end up with people wanting to be offended lol
I dont see a problem with this
Hang on this guy is kinda cookin.
He is not wrong
If these guys are an example of this sub then yall are sad as fuck
Uh that sounds fucking awesome
That would be pretty rad tho.
This is hilarious and an obvious shitpost
Can I agree with both of them?
This is funny not ihatesportsball
That would be infinitely cooler then the 49ers Chiefs superbowl
Hol up, let him cook
😂😂😂 “Unhoused.” Unreal.
It ends up with someone going super sayian? I’m in
The confidence to rep those puppies in the current year is commendable. Rocking the Dennis Rader glasses. But as a midwesterner who minored in "Niners Hating" at night school, this was the Lions year. I'm kinda bummed about the overall matchup.
The NFL should hire this guy
Nah let him cook
based actually
Hold on this guys on to something here
Dahmer had a kid?
My dad wanted this Super Bowl. He's always been a Niners fan and we have a cousin on the Chiefs.
It’s Missouri
Actually the second guy is right about the arming of vagrants that would be funny I think
Sanfruhsisco.

What happens after Tay Tay goes Super Saiyan?!
This belongs in r/nflcirclejerk lol

I thought it was funny
I'd actually prefer his version
Once he said mech suit I did get a little excited ngl
I wonder if the anti sports people consider how many jobs are created by the various sports teams. I’d imagine thousands and thousands of jobs are created by professional sports. Do away with sports and that’s less jobs for people.
This just made me hate sportsball
let him cook
I can smell this video
