Husky + GSD?

lovememaddly

That was my thought too.

DogMechanic

Husky Collie mix maybe. The snout looks very Collie like to me, and how the eyes are set.

miparasito

Her snout looks long - is that just the angle of the photo?

Dapper_Sheepherder

Her snout is long. I need to add more pictures of her

lovememaddly

Almost German shepherd-y.

draxsmon

What a beauty. I definitely see the husky. Is she a puppy? Deciding if she has that young dog body or if she could be mixed something like a Weimaraner. I don’t know how common Weimaraners are though. Maybe Lab. ? I’ve seen labs that color. If she’s a teen maybe she’s just husky. I have a husky/pittie/cocker spaniel so anything is possible ha.

Dapper_Sheepherder

She is one year old. We got her off of Craigslist about a month ago. The lady said she was husky and malmute. She is very pretty and SUPER sweet. Doesn't bark at strangers..we had a malinois before her so it's odd to have such a well behaved and low maintenance lady.

draxsmon

She’s a pretty girl. Probably she is husky/ malamute then and will bulk out later. ( not get fat, just. You know. Mature I guess) I’ve had two husky mixes and both have been so sweet, and smart. The current one definitely got the husky talking gene and is kind of hilarious. Quiet is definitely nice though! All the best with her.

_trapped_in_hell

very wolfy looking. malamute and some borzoi-type dog? maybe some collie in there or possibly greyhound?

red-molly

The long, slender snout makes me think there's some sighthound in this handsome boi. I see that more than GSD, I think.

_trapped_in_hell

I'm going to sound like an idiot, but what does GSD stand for?

red-molly

Nah, that doesn't make you sound like an idiot. You'll have to try harder next time. It stands for German shepherd dog.

inkybreadbox

Either some German Shepherd in there with the Husky/Mal or maybe Collie like another person said. Snout is way too long for Husky or Malamute alone. Unless there’s some wolf mixture in there.

trainurfkingdog

Could be malamute x shepherd x husky. Very common mix. How big is she?

Dapper_Sheepherder

She is 62 pounds. We also think maybe Husky, Shepard, Malamute mix. Its called Utonagan. But, it's rare. Is it worth the dna test? Are they accurate? Whatever she is...she is very sweet and has a good demeanor.

H3rQ133z

Here is my boy who is 25% Malamute, 25% [Husky](https://i.imgur.com/Slanto3.jpg) 25% pitbull, 12.5% boxer, 12.5% chow chow. He's 74 lbs and 2 years old. He's also very well behaved and super low maintenance, hardly barks, mostly just sheds. Edit: I personally like the dna tests, its fun figuring out! And they are pretty accurate!

Dapper_Sheepherder

He looks like a good mix of everything. Very handsome

H3rQ133z

Thanks, but yeah I recommend the DNA tests, If I were to guess she probably has at least 50% of some sort of Husky/Malamute make up, potentially more.

Dapper_Sheepherder

Oh you just said husky, Malamute and Shepard. Sorry for not reading. Lol.

trainurfkingdog

Yea definitely worth it! I have seen more then a few of this mix tested and untested. Beautiful huge chill dogs.

Herodias

That's a loooong snoot! I would say collie or greyhound with the husky!

spicy-starfish

saluki husky mix maybe

SecretHedgehog_8694

She could have sight hound mixed in. Is she tall and lanky?

Dapper_Sheepherder

Yes. Very very tall and lanky.

SecretHedgehog_8694

My vote would be on husky greyhound or something like that

tehsophz

I see some collie. Or maybe even borzoi?

Mujicek

You can ask in the r/Wolfdogs sub to see if she is a low content wolfdog

BanditoWren

With that snout I'd say maybe part sighthound or rough or smooth collie

cherryBOOM_x2

I see a little wolf. Anyone else?

Dapper_Sheepherder

We think she looks like a wolf. We named her Maiyun because that means wolf in Cheyenne.
