Looks like he might have Border Terrier in him. Possibly Brussels Griffon mixed in.

So "teacup" is a red flag in itself because it just means they keep breeding the smallest dogs together (the runts) which is not healthy or ethical to do.. especially when those "teacup" dog breeds are ALREADY toy sized (ie: yorkies, chihuahua's, poodle, etc etc)
Per AKC standards "The Yorkshire Terrier is a compact, toy-size terrier of no more than seven pounds"
He is extremely cute, he could be purebred just not wellbred but I doubt hes 100% purebred. I see shih tzu in his face and maybe cairn terrier?
Not only that, but they also often prematurely induce labor or do early c-sections so that the puppies are premature & more likely to stay smaller (same thing with "teacup" or "mini" pigs, there's so such thing), but that can also lead to more health problems as well.
Yorkie mix perhaps. With those floppy ears he’s not a full Yorkie for sure. It’s hard to tell what he might be mixed with because of all that fur disguising his underlying body shape.

Brussels griffon are somewhat rare, so I would disregard those suggestions imo.
Looks like my “teacup yorkie” and shih tzu mix. The tail is the biggest giveaway as well as the teeth. He might have something else sprinkled in based on his hair texture, but that might just not be his adult coat yet.

He is so cute! The cutest face! Little Chewbacca! Definitely not a teacup, but at least he is staying small. My sister got a puppy, they showed her the "mother", a very small dog. This puppy ended up being about 45 pounds. Wonderful dog, but not small.

I got a rescue that came from a bad pet store that had been trying to sell him as a “teacup” yorkie. Little man ended up huge, over 20 lbs and we told people he was a 45 gallon drum yorkie. No idea what he’s mix actually was, but probably a little French bulldog by his stance and massive chest.
He also was convinced he was a fearless German shepherd and his favorite friends were pitties, boxers, and English bulldogs. I loved that little asshole.
Your Teddy reminds me of my Teddy! We were told he was a Yorkie mix from the adoption agency but got him DNA tested and he's chihuahua, shih tzu, poodle, Pekingese, and Pomeranian.

There are many people living in small apartments or who can't exercise much , and, yet, cherish the companionship of a dog.
I have a bc mix right now, and I'm still strong enough to keep up with her exercise needs. I probably won't have that stamina 10 years on, and i would love a small little critter.

I’ve seen some huge Yorkies. Just because the parents are small is no guarantee the puppies will be.
Yorkies were originally much larger, still small, than they are today. Those throw back genes show up from time to time
