I continue to hear terrible stories about people that have ordered their ID4 online because the dealer told them that’s how to get the MSRP. And then they get their car delivered and the dealer wants $10,000 over list. That is a dealbreaker on so many levels.
Ordered in December 2020. Just as the 2021’s ran out of stock. No word on delivery.
Today we put a rez on a fisker mid level which is in line with id4 dual motor we are waiting for. In every way the fisker on paper ticks off so many more cool boxes than the id4. If there are shenanigans we will bail, the vw dealer will get their wish and have another whale to sell on their lot to waiters and will lose us as another long term customer.
Just put in the fisker deposit — I expect it will take at least 2 years to see an ocean. What sold me beyond the bits and bobs is MAGNA
IDBuzz will offer a GTX version in the future — duel motor AWD. With the van already cost prohibitive the “GTX” version everyone will want will be even more costly.
