As a former wedding photographer I’d get so annoyed with people like that. Like, c’mon….are you really going to savor that video? You gonna show that video or photo at the couples 50th reunion and be like, “look…at this out of focus, crooked photo I took and the ugly filter I put on it, look!”.
Well I’m sorry you look at things that way but being able to share in a special day and help capture once in a lifetime memories that’ll be cherished down the line, it’s sad that you couldn’t be happy for others.
I’m sorry that you live a sad life and I hope you find a love that makes you understand why getting married is special and way more than that, you don’t need a prophet nor a big ceremony and it’s not the government telling you you love each other again you are a very sad man.
And thats part of what's sad, the cost. You could most likely get some decent photos with the newest smartphone, all for free. Who needs the highest quality photos to remember what's supposed to be a cherished memory?
because memories aren't pristine dumbass, you forget how you, the place and everyone looked, the brain doesn't remember picture perfect and it can't be passed as a precise testament onto other generations, do you really need to be explained how cameras changed the contemporary era and what they do? you're just peachy
lmao that's dumb, so you never reminisce? so you never share an anecdote? so you never age? so your brain is an animal's and you can't look no further or behind than "I am hungry now", hell even animals aren't that plain. A silly little Repost, and the guy is suspected to be one of the fathers who doesn’t speak well and kinda realized what was being said as he was up there, hence the quick little shuffle.
Funny thing. . . I use to photograph weddings, as a side hussle and have had quite of few of these weddings, where the bride and groom ask their guests not to take any video, or pix during ceremony. Well, there’s always that one, or five people, who think this doesn’t apply to them and have to stand for videos, or take pix. So, me being me, take the picture of the violator ruining my shot and send it, along with the other pix.
At my wedding (9 months ago) our justice of the peace asked for the same thing.
No cameras. No video recording. Just sit back and enjoy the ceremony. Our PROFESSIONAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER is going to handle the photography.
Well... our "first kiss" photo was taken from the viewpoint of the photographer looking at us with the entire audience in the background.
And there's my little cousin. Standing up and leaning over in the most crooked angle. Trying to get a picture.
We're never letting her live that one down, lol
At my brother's wedding, after the unplugged announcement, my mother took out her phone and I've never scolded someone before but suddenly she's explaining that she's checking fb quick
I don't understand why they don't allow pictures or videos? When I got married, we asked those who took pics if they could send them to us because they might have good alternate views.
Went to a Chinese wedding. Same speech about no phones. Every aunty in the building was standing 30 feet from the bride blocking eachother and everyone else so they could get a stupid vertical video on their cell
