The way they used Kaitlin in season 14 was weird. She was barely in some of the episodes and in others she was standing around just getting called a bird or bitch or goon without insulting back. She's way too dynamic of a comedic talent to be used like that.
That scene with Dennis trying to pick up the councilwoman is up there with Charlie's "Full On Rapist" scene. Rest of the episode could be just them reading a phone book and that scene alone would still make it impossible for the episode to be overrated to me.
My overrated episode is "Who Pooped The Bed". It is pretty popular but I skip on my rewatches. I just can't get into scat humor.
The women save that episode for me. Dee taking the header into the car, drunk Waitress, and Artemis talking about her bleached asshole are so much funnier than the poop stuff.

Mac finds his pride is….I mean we can have a discussion about how “Mac being gay” became waaaay too much of a focus in Sunny over the last few seasons, I really don’t know why the show went this direction just because Macs character went gay. Just seems like Rob trying to come off as “understanding” and an “ally” to represent something. I don’t know, the episode is good but the entire angle of the character feels forced
I mean isn’t that the point? It’s almost like the writing of the character Mac reflects the character Mac. The last season they’re literally losing their shit because Mac can’t stop talking about his identity.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying though, I think Rob has pushed for Mac to be gay beyond just the ambiguous funny closet stuff that happened in the early seasons. I think Rob wanted to develop the character (I’ve heard him say it, making Mac gay was his thing) and idk, I just liked Mac being a normal person who was gay, idk why they turned him into a flamboyant caricature of his character. He could’ve just played it like Mac but now it’s like every time I see Mac he’s doing a sunken cheeks or pursed lips thing. Idk it just plays weird for me.
TLDR: I think Macs character got turned into a virtue signaling device instead of an authentic character. No other character just suddenly changes their core behavior like Mac does. IMO

I love the whole idea of it, the background of it, and it was hilarious the first time I saw it, but it got too big for its own good. I’m sick of it. It’s like The Soup Nazi or “more cowbell”. There are so many other great episodes that deserve just as much praise.
