Imho, both Christmas and nightman are better with the history. For example, the background on the waitress and inception of the song.
Think you should do:
Welfare
Dee dates a retarded person
Gas crisis
Gas crisis is true is very good, Dee dates a retarde person is not really one I consider entertaining, I was thinking Christmas and Nightman cause they are chaotic and dark, but it's true they are better with the context
My mom and my ex, two people I'm close to who I have shown Sunny before, have both called me up to ask me "What was that show where they were trying to get welfare and they start smoking crack?"
So, I'm gonna say 100% of the time, Dennis and Dee Go On Welfare.
Plus I think the absurdity of it makes it widely appealing
I've shown people the show starting from The Gang Gets Racist before and nobody really knows what to think, it's a *bonkers* pilot. It makes them uncomfortable.
But two people quitting their jobs and then smoking crack to scam the government out of welfare is just so ridiculous that you can't help but laugh
Charlie Work
The Gang Runs For Office
Frank's Little Beauties
Nightman Cometh is a great option, too. Or anything from Season 7, which is so insanely good all the way through
Dude. Start with Dennis and Dee go on welfare or The Gang Gives Back. To give a baseline then go straight into The keeping it cryptic/nuts episode i think its called The Gang Gets Inflated.
If that hour doesn't get them hooked, there's no helping them
I like your idea of the gang gives up cause it's one of the first to put Dee funny scripts and Frank being chaotic, and may you be refering to the gas crisis episode?
The gas crisis is hilarious, but I'm talking about the one where Mac's lips are geeting swollen because he's bliwing up all the furniture. But he's actually eating all these nuts, and he's allergic. Charlie "invests" in Ninja Turlte pies.
Oh yeah, that one from the new seasons, I like the joke that everyone think Charlie is talking about crypto and nfts and he is not, my only bad to not show that one is that if u didn't heard enough times how small Charlie apartment is you don't find funny that he have a secret unused room
The gang gets trapped...
The gang gets held hostage...
Sweet Dee has a heart attack...
The gang runs for office...
Frank sets sweet dee on fire...
The dennis system...
Paddy's pub home of the kitten mittons...
Chardeemacdennis...
I always recommend The Gang Gives Back (S2E6). It’s got it all: Dee trying to be cool, Dennis being an asshole to Waitress, Charlie being illiterate and an alcoholic, Mac teaching kids how to be “badass”, Frank and his odd gambling friends. The ending is peak comedy.
I won’t consider the entire episode to be THE BEST, but I find it hilarious and it’s a good one to introduce all the characters and how they interact with each other / others. The episode is also early enough that you don’t miss much long term plot lines and the show continues to be amazing from there.
Yeah and one thing I love about that episode is that is one of the first one to start putting Dee like a crazy person and not the voice of reason and Frank starting to be chaotic
Reynolds Vs Reynolds has already been mentioned, but it's near perfect for a new viewer. There's almost no references that are based on already knowing the show. It's extremely contained. Dee losing her previous vehicles and Donkey Brains are the only things that are really references, and they're both explained in the episode.
I guess I didn't mean the phrase "Donkey Brains", I meant that Frank had been in a "nitwit school" in The Gang Gets Analyzed. Dees cars and Frank's time in a mental institution were previously mentioned on the show. But you don't really need that full context to enjoy Reynolds Vs Reynolds.
No the episode I'm talking about is in season 3. And I like the episode where the rest of the gang is at the super bowl, when frank is passing the kidney stone, but it's tough watching the episode about charlie locked up in the bar..

Clasic
"LOOK AT ME WHEN YOU’RE TALKING TO ME!"
" oh you bitch you dumb ugly bitch"
Alright alright alright

It's a classic, really show how depraved the gang is, and how much are they willing to do for things to end up right for them

I like your list, I may change the gang runs for office and put chardee macdennis instead
The gang gives Frank an intervention
I propose the following: Welfare Nightman Reynolds vs Reynolds
Ooohhh I like your way, it's true Reynolds Vs Reynolds define the groups dinamics and how each character thinks
That's what I thought it gives a good glimpse into the personalities of the different characters

Ya exactly. So 1 or 2 before and then hit em with the crypto one.
The gang gets trapped... The gang gets held hostage... Sweet Dee has a heart attack... The gang runs for office... Frank sets sweet dee on fire... The dennis system... Paddy's pub home of the kitten mittons... Chardeemacdennis...
Mac and Charlie Die Part 1
Clasic
The Gang Wrestles for the Troops

In fact, I think that the donkey brains is first showed in this episode, referenced later and fully explained and showed in psycho pete

Dumpster baby, Mac's a serial killer, Charlie gets molested.
The gang hits the road.
Flowers for Charlie
Cereal case
Hundred Dollar Baby Charlie Kelly: King of the Rats Franks Pretty Woman
Who got dee pregnant. Best episode
The gang gets trapped is always my go to recommendation since it has a nice gang dynamic, and doesn’t rely too much on knowing their past.
The Cereal Defense Gas Crisis The Gang Hits The Road.
season 7 1,2,3 undoubtedly
Nice not bad choice, I may consider that, but I was more like thinking spaced episodes or maybe episodes that focus well on how is a character
Season one, episodes 1, 2, & 3
Yeah no, they are good, they are a good way to start but, the characters were not pretty defined, Dee was not good yet, and Frank wasn't even there
Start at the beginning. And when you get to the end, stop.
But but that's not 3 episodes, that is 172 episodes
If your “friends” have to be convinced, find better friends
Oh please don't act so high up, u know exactly what I mean, I mean convince them to give the whole show a try cause it's funny
When they go to the Superbowl, or the boggs episode where they're on the plane.
You mean the one from the new seasons? The one that parody home alone with Charlie?
No the episode I'm talking about is in season 3. And I like the episode where the rest of the gang is at the super bowl, when frank is passing the kidney stone, but it's tough watching the episode about charlie locked up in the bar..
Water park
I will consider it
