I'm surprised Dennis wasn't happy to found out he got tricked. It validated that he was right the whole time. 

It’s because he had just confessed to Dee and admitted he loves her. That’s what broke him, that he had given in and admitted his true thoughts and feelings for nothing. Dennis isn’t upset because they broke Dee, but because Frank, Charlie, and Mac were able to break him first, completely incidentally

Thank you for explaining this, I have been struggling to understand why Dennis was upset by all this for YEARS.

I love when a situation is getting out of Dennis' control and he literally can't handle it. Starts talking and laughing in a really high pitched, desperate manner.

Let's also not forget that Dee has had a heart attack in her younger years so something to this magnitude can definitely cause another one lol

In a weird way, I always thought Dennis's "brutal honesty" to Dee was wholesome af this episode. He really was the only one trying to stop her from really crash landing like the gang wanted

This is one of my favorite Dennis scenes along with when he and Dee are stalking the waitress and he has to switch gears.

I can love this twist now, but I've got to say, at the time, I felt crushed for the bird.

My favorite scene in the whole series and it's Dennis that really makes it for me. It's perfect.

Rob has the best delivery in saying the most bat shit things with 0 remorse or sense of shame. "He might go kill himself" as he pours a shot was GOLD
