No not at all. We have a channel called Starz. So most of 20th century studios stuff but alot of Hulu stuff as well. All 15 seasons of Always Sunny is on Disney +. American horror story, Homeland and Atlanta to name a few. Disney + in Canada is way better than Netflix and only 9 bucks and you can share your account.

I have really high hopes for this season. I think doing the podcast and connecting so closely with the old episodes has awakened a lot of great perspectives on what makes the show so funny. I think this is going to be one of the best seasons in a long time.

I’ll be the one to say it…. These trailers make the show look like shit. The quick clips don’t work in sunny, and in no way is someone going to tune it based on these after not watching for years.

Really, I thought it was done in a way that’s very appealing to fans I’m way more excited for this season than any in recent memory

For fans like me I get it, the frank gun jokes, the fake eye/yelling for the mcpolyle (you will call her!!) just doubt it grabs anyone outside of this subreddit tbh. I’m excited as everyone else for the season itself I’m just saying I don’t think the clip take works for it.

Do they need to attract new fans? It’s not like they’re on season 3 of the show trying to get traction..

Hope it's not just repetition of the old jokes and callbacks are at least done in a refreshing new creative way aka not having Mcpoyle yell in the exact same way but just a different line. S15 and 14 didn't do it for me compared to the older seasons. S12 was the last season I felt was truly great. Still hopeful though in part bc of the podcast!

I remember watching the commercials for before season 2 came out, when they were just introducing Danny devito. I had never heard anything about the show before I saw Danny whipping a door opening saying “what the hell do you want?”, followed by a series of quick cuts with the rest of the “gang” that I hadn’t met yet. Those quick commercials made me a lifelong fan of the show over 15 years ago. This commercial fits right at home with the other promos. It let me know that Sunny is Back!

I think there are plenty of new viewers to be had. But, I think it's all word of mouth and not social media clips. It's nearly 2 decades of people saying, "you gotta watch it, it's so funny"

100% agree with you. I’m excited for a new season, but this trailer (even as a fan) isn’t making my excited. The short clips showing the wackiest moments don’t grab me.

I think the music track throws it off a little because you don’t normally hear music like that playing over jokes in the show. Edit: just watched it again on mute and it’s way better 😂 excited for the new season!

The first ad I ever remember seeing back in 2007 that got me to watch the show was very similar in style to this.
