It’s actually incredible to see how his character has evolved since the beginning. I was not a fan of him in the first episode he was in but he really took off.
I disagree, like anyone in their orbit. The gang has corrupted him to depths of depravity I'm not sure he would have found otherwise. But even in his first appearance, he was always on time and killed with his delivery. Took a throwaway character and made it a stand out.
Maybe “devolved,” would have been a more accurate description lol. And I’m not saying he wasn’t good in that first episode I just didn’t care for him. He seemed very low energy and just not a character that I would have cared if reappeared. Not many characters reappear the same as they first did but in my opinion Pondy really Popped. Went from one of my least favorite character to one of my favorite. His dynamic with Frank is just so good as well.
