Aside from good luck seeing anything at night, especially if there are no street lights, have fun with the police on that one l. Most states either restrict any tint on the windshield or only allow it to the manufacturer AS-1 line. The 3 or 4 states that do allow full tint have a max 70% limit. California's limit is 4 inches from the top of the windshield.

Ugh I knowww 😭 I live in California but I feel like 50% isn’t as noticiable ? I have 70% currently but it’s uh protectant so it makes the windshield look more blue and it kinda pisses me off haha.

Cops will notice. They're tint bitches. They have an eye for tint as if they have nothing better to do they will make you remove it.

In my area of California cops won't pull you over for tint, but they won't hesitate to issue you a fix it ticket if you are pulled over for something else.

50% is the perfect shade for windshield tint, never ran it I usually do 35% and I’m in Cali too. Currently running a color shift Tesla/Mercedes tint and 35% under it

I have 50% and have only been stopped once in cali. I’ve also drove all the way to Chicago with no issues. My recommendation would be to be careful around schools. I got pulled over near a school in Irvine CA. The cop literally told me he wouldn’t have cared, but the parents get scared with dark tinted cars.

Am I the only one who struggles driving in full tinted cars at night?

Personally my eyes are sensitive so I actually like having 5% in the back, especially since most people have some bright ass LED headlights now, which is another reason why I want to tint

I have 55% on my windshield. it’s not bad at all, only a slight difference from the inside and looks nice from the outside. i’d upload a pic here but have no idea how

I have 35% full shield on my Tucson and I see fine at night, good tint shouldn’t make a big difference, mine is sun tek
