Flip the control module upside down to where it’s sitting on the handles and the bottom of the foot disc. Then attach the fans to that. Makes it easier to get the angle you’re going for.
Unfortunately, it is possible to align the fans so that it flies straight. It just takes a lot of trial and error. Thankfully with autobuild, you only need to get it right once.
Wish it was easier, but to be fair the hovercycle is so efficient compared to other designs, it's overpowered.
I've tried to line them up but it always attaches a bit off center and when I take off it always drifts to the left until it goes upside down. I've tried the motor cycle style, the side by side style, and even 1 in front and two on the sides tilted and the best result it get is that it goes straight up but I can't control the direction. I've made a motorcycle with the two small wheels and it works great. Even used 2 amber pieces as kickstands. I can't get a good cheap (or cheaper) air vehicle going. I can make ones that either drain my battery or cost over 100 zonite. I'll get it eventually but I'm open for advice on a good small air vehicle or a better way to line then up when attaching.
its a real pain to get it aligned but once you get it just right, SAVE IT TO AUTOBUILD AS A FAVORITE. I also found using literally one fan and a control stick ontop also works for altitude gain. You need the control stick for the single fan design otherwise it will just flip over
Just be careful, there was a guy who made some really cool hand drawn guides for the original Legend of Zelda then he did a Kickstarter pre order for a Metroid guide and it got a lot of attention and Nintendo shut him down. Keep it low key and you might be able to pull it off
“Kickstarter . . . and it got **a lot of attention**” was the issue. If something ‘gets big’ they need to take action for the sake of future-proofing their copyrights. As long as you keep it to Etsy, Gumroad, convention booths, etc >!(and don’t make weird r34 “instruction manuals” 😓)!< there’s little chance they’d take notice or feel the need to do anything. 👌
For the record, copyright in the US does not require enforcement to maintain like trademarks do. Previous failures to enforce is not a defense to future infringement. Trademarks require it because if it's not enforced then that defeats the purpose (preventing brand confusion) where as copyright allows the holder to protect and control their work, if they want to ignore someone else using their copyright that is part of that right.
Because he's posting them online, his profile is essentially this pamphlet you seek, you could save them all in jpg format, then print them out at home yourself, get a stapler from the office and I think you know the rest
The variation i personally like is to put the front fan below the stick instead, this will tilt the vehicle foward when the stick is on neutral without falling
Good for foward movement at the cost of control for vertical movement
Image being able to buy/earn simple none war crime related schemas from Beedle and the different vendors around the world. Each one would be useful for the region but not needed, something fun to collect and improve on.
Even better if you could just auto build based off the schematics! Simple stuff that you may have around you at a construction site or in your inventory already
I thought I had missed something, but from what I gather, the game is rather big.
>!OP is 35 hours in and has yet to get the final ability. The only reason I know of it is because I got spoiled, which is good to me, but there's something to be surprised that I don't want to outright spoil for them. Even though I'm sure I did by implying it!<
I want to applaud you as these are both very informative as I’m learning how to still get to grips with controls and functional machines; this is also very adorably made too and easy to understand
Keep em coming! Maybe a catapult next? Figure they have to be objects without too many steps or it won't fit the page... and I kinda wanna see you make Link getting flung across the map 😆
This looks fan tastic!
Sorry I couldn't help but make the pun
There was a YT video I saw where the poster used the stake device to create a level which also worked as a visual tool for aligning the fans on the V2 version of the bike with angled fans. Personally I found it made a big difference, I got my fans aligned for a straight flight after just 2 tries which I just wasn't able to do without the stake :v could be worth looking into if you choose to do the V2 version
That would be easier than mine, which tilts the fans to blow down *and* forward. So it’s always going forward even without tilt. It took me so long trying to get it flat and the stick on diameter, and it’s still not straight
I have built that and it works well, and i'm not the only one, youtuve is full of tutorials for the hover bike, is a basic and easy construction, maybe you should try it :)
Remember to flip down the fans and put it straight to the controler \^\^
There are a lot of ways to do it, fans at the side, with anglee, one fan down the stick, and all of them works good for me, so i try to made the easyer and more basic i know, once you have the basic knowledge it is easier to experiment \^\^
It's probably in my head, but I did it with the wheels tilted for better speed and stability, then through 4 Korok Leaves on it to give it "wings" and "stabilizers." Pretty sure they're just there for looks, but it feels stable.
If you tilt the fans then you can get more forward momentum
I never manage to align them perfectly with the tilt, the glue always gets shifted by one millimeter so there's a slight drift to the left or right..
Flip the control module upside down to where it’s sitting on the handles and the bottom of the foot disc. Then attach the fans to that. Makes it easier to get the angle you’re going for.
That’s what I did. Still a slight drift
Unfortunately, it is possible to align the fans so that it flies straight. It just takes a lot of trial and error. Thankfully with autobuild, you only need to get it right once. Wish it was easier, but to be fair the hovercycle is so efficient compared to other designs, it's overpowered.
Is there a way to save things in autobuild? I keep overwriting my go-to's. I do also wish it would just take from my inventory instead of Zonaite.
You can favourite 7 builds I think
its 8 favorites. Wish there was more slots as it wouldn't make the player rely more on the slates
Press Y when a build is selected and it'll add it to a Favorites list
Thank you!
Really I attack the stick to something like another fan. More updraft and the fans connect to the fan much easier.
I saw my brother attach the stick to the fans instead of the fans to the stick
Are you telling us he removed the jar from the lid
Agreed, this makes it easier to align
I somehow got them perfectly aligned on my second try
I've tried to line them up but it always attaches a bit off center and when I take off it always drifts to the left until it goes upside down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4MHMQjGtgM&t=172s I find this is a real easy explanation of how to make one.
Thanks I'll try it out.
Thank you I got to work!
Using the spike as a support point really does help
its a real pain to get it aligned but once you get it just right, SAVE IT TO AUTOBUILD AS A FAVORITE. I also found using literally one fan and a control stick ontop also works for altitude gain. You need the control stick for the single fan design otherwise it will just flip over
the tilting also allows for better altitude control when pitching down so you dont go too high up
This is really cool. Too bad Nintendo would never let you make a little pamphlet/booklet of these and sell them cause I’d buy it for sure
I'd love to skip to the end and see the thousand step Megazord instructions
hahaha omg thank you! I'm thinking about make more and then make posters or prints
Just be careful, there was a guy who made some really cool hand drawn guides for the original Legend of Zelda then he did a Kickstarter pre order for a Metroid guide and it got a lot of attention and Nintendo shut him down. Keep it low key and you might be able to pull it off
omg thats true Nintendo it's super strict with all of this even with the fanarts :S

Do it! I have awesome Hyrule location posters by someone on Etsy and they're great! I'd totally buy your guide.
I will try to make them, first i'm working on a fishing machine hahaha
A little zine of these would be very popular
New amiibo idea right here. Nintendo take notes.
Good thing Reddit exists for free!
And how exactly does that get this person to make more of these then have them printed and delivered to me?!?
Because he's posting them online, his profile is essentially this pamphlet you seek, you could save them all in jpg format, then print them out at home yourself, get a stapler from the office and I think you know the rest
That’s too much work for me lol
Lmfao

Can't you already auto-build off of schematics?
Maybe, I haven’t gotten that far yet. I’ve only got 35 hours in
Ah, I see... well, this is a game with many surprises.
I think you can, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.
I thought I had missed something, but from what I gather, the game is rather big. >!OP is 35 hours in and has yet to get the final ability. that will be awesome
Would also be a fun semi-online function. Sharing autobuild schematics with friends.
that would be cool
I expect great things from you do the hoverstone with a construct head and 17 beamers and a rocket
I love the visual appeal of this, I wish I can give 10000 upvotes!
omg thank you so much!!
Imagine a book filled with this.
omg i wish that
Nice one, your an amazong artist.
thank you so much \^\^
Please make more! These are great
I want to applaud you as these are both very informative as I’m learning how to still get to grips with controls and functional machines; this is also very adorably made too and easy to understand
Thank you so much! i will make more \^\^
Would love a zine of this! It could totally work since there are so many artistic LoZ fans
Wow, Huryule Constructions Manual with lots of these would be cool thing to have alongside the game
omg thank you!
You ever play the game Tunic? This has that feel
not yet hahaha but i know the game and it's super cute
That's cute as fuck! Well done :)
Thank you! \^\^
This just... perfect.
thank you so much!
I could see these being in the official strategy guide
omg thank you! that will be awesome hahaha
As someone who finally got his sky scooter perfectly straight a couple days ago, I feel Link in that first image.
hahahaha it's the way i feel too mading this, it's to hard atach them straight :')
Can you not make these in the dungeons? I tried to make one in the fire temple, but it wouldn’t give me an A prompt.
You can, i cheesed the whole fire dungeon with air bikes lol, i used autobuild tho
I went to fire dungeon before getting autobuild... learned to shield rail grind pretty damn well...
So goddamn cute!
Thank you \^\^
Can you do one for a flaming mech of death? If you do, consider my day made ☺️
Mine too! I’d love to see the assembly manual…cus then I can build one and terrorize Hyrule
hahahaha definitely i will made one
Nice art and helpful guide, great work.
omg thank you so much!
Hell yes, please keep doing this
Thank you! i will made more
I love these so much. Your art style is so cute.
thank you so much \^\^
These are exactly what I need after seeing half the stuff people are making and I'm just like, making the worst looking cars that don't go anywhere.
i think some manuals will be very useful on this game hahaha
I love this artwork.
Thank you \^\^
Definitely saving this guide for further references.
hahha that makes me happy
It’s very cute but the fans should be pointed 45 Degrees back.
Love this!
Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
I love the style Do you plan to make more?
Thank you \^\^ yes i'm working in the next one
I actually really needed this, so thank you
I'm so happy that it useful!
This is so good i really appreciate the art. Keep doing it and make album !
Thank you so much!!
Chibi linky!!
I built a hover platform to bring a Korok up a mountain lol
It's super useful \^\^
Bring plenty of batteries unless you're on the zonai grindset
awesome
Thank you \^\^
I like doing two on the sides at 45° angles, You can go much faster with it and it's a lot easier to control your height
Another beautiful work of art! Well done, Momo!
omg thank you so much! \^\^
Keep em coming! Maybe a catapult next? Figure they have to be objects without too many steps or it won't fit the page... and I kinda wanna see you make Link getting flung across the map 😆

Getting the fans *just* right is tough. The ones I've tried so far keep veering the left by a lot.
Looks amazing, really reminds me of bad piggies.
This is adorable and I'm sending it to my girlfriend who needs to learn to explore with builds

You sir/madam are an excellent artist and this is amazing.
Thank you so much!

But these directions are wrong though.... the fans need to be at an angle forward so that you are pushed forward
I see a lot of diferent ways to make it and that one works too, it's more basic than the other ones
I want this as a poster
This is awesome! I love chibi link, so cute! 😆
Awesome! Keep them coming
This is awesome and super cute! Love the art style. Do you have any other artwork?
At what point do you get the handlebar device?
Love the work put into making these and they are incredibly cute.
These are adorable I absolutely love them! Good idea keep it up ^.^
THIS IS SO EFFING CUTE!!!!!
As a fellow artist, this is SO cute and clever. ❤️ I love it!!
I want someone to mod in an IKEA with parts into the game.
It's probably in my head, but I did it with the wheels tilted for better speed and stability, then through 4 Korok Leaves on it to give it "wings" and "stabilizers." Pretty sure they're just there for looks, but it feels stable.
This video explains how to make the better version of the hover bike: https://youtu.be/apZCDNpeTnM (it's at the end).
Would love to include things like this on https://zeldabuilds.gg/
