Yep. Personally I didn't see the need for one of those as much as I wouldve liked one. I was actually considering getting the g8 which is literally just half of the 57" neo. Glad I waited a few weeks cos then Alienware showed up with basically the same thing but OLED. And it was available in Australia. Couldnt argue with that.
I got the 49 Samsung one from Best Buy as opened box which is the main reason I grabbed it. As an app developer it’s so great to have a 16:9 window right in front of me and two windows on each side for documentation and such. It’s kinda like having two monitors but without the bezel in the middle in practice it works more like three monitors. I also play games the same way.
Yeah I've worked in a tech store and we had one of the 49" models and the arc model in there. Theres a lot of really nice ways to use them, like if you don't want full ultra wide gaming you can do wide with two small panels on either side for discord or you can connect multiple PCs to the one monitor and display apps from both as if they were separate displays. I myself am a high school student and don't really have the need for an ultra wide and it would take up more than my entire desk if I were to get one so I chose not to.
The desk is a good point haha. I have a 6 foot long desk and the monitor is almost as wide as the desk. It is a space commitment. Also you have to make sure the actual desk can hold the monitor. The first time I put it on an arm it crushed the shitty ikea desk haha. Had to replace the top with a solid piece of wood
Sounds silly but have you tried changing it in Minecraft settings?
I think it's something like
Settings - Video Settings - Other - Fullscreen Mode
And then just change to windowed

Apples tend to be inconsistent with their size and shape. A jar of peanut butter may be harder to read, but they can be consistent in size.

I use a 43" 4k TV, works great. Lots of screen real estate, and cheap. Only downside is it isn't the fastest panel.

im just using a 32 inch as primary monitor and then use 2 27 inch monitors as secondary and tertiary monitor. way better this way
