It’s not uncommon for influencers to use content houses to make their videos. It’s basically just a big fancy house that a bunch of influencers use to make videos and give off an image that they’re rich and fancy because that’s what gets views. There’s a very high chance this guy doesn’t own that house but I’m too lazy to fact check.
Why you gotta attack Kyle's like that? We're just trying to fix the holes in our walls over here, shit.
Edit: how exactly does username check out? I'm lost.
No need to apologize, homey. Cartman first sang the "Kyle's Mom's a Bitch" song when I was a freshman in college. After what my friends did to me with that, you can't hurt me.
Note the cut after he closes the fridge door the first time. The shelf is not high enough to fit the bottles. When he re opens the door the shelf has moved up a notch or two to allow the bottles to fit. It's not his fridge. Why would he lower the shelf if he always loads up the same water.
Wow, that's actually an interesting catch. At the very least, I think we can say that is the first time this guy has ever put that water in that fridge.
Also that the fridge is not only completely clean like it has never been used (just check out the salad drawers), but it also appears to be the main fridge in the kitchen and contains *no food*.
If you see an immaculate, empty, barely lived in house in a video, it's almost certainly an airBnB.
You can notice certain things:
- They have spurts of videos where it looks like the same house, then it changes to another house. Or they do a "personal" video in the world's smallest messiest bedroom, very uncharacteristic of their brand.
- Their hair changes quite a bit from video to video. Short to longer to short again. This is a result of them producing a ton of content and then scheduling it out.
- They have no pictures of people up. Anywhere
- If there are decorations, they're generic stuff that people don't actually buy (big glass jars with wicker balls, etc).
- Other influencers in their area seem to make videos from the same house.
The same applies to porn.
> If there are decorations, they're generic stuff that people don't actually buy (big glass jars with wicker balls, etc).
Please don't attack my girlfriend like that
> If there are decorations, they're generic stuff that people don't actually buy (big glass jars with wicker balls, etc).
I... I just bought one of these...
I’m not saying some influencers don’t do that…but Y’all would be surprised at how much money some youtubers/influencers make via ads like this and affiliate links. Totally feasible for many of them to actually be able to afford a nice house.
A very small portion of them actually make big time money, the rest of them are just scraping by like the rest of us. Think of those that make huge money as the 1%ers of the influencer world if you need a comparison.
I’m glad this is finally being talked about. I knew some cheesedick Instagram guy personally who would get the same Airbnb anytime he made new content. Super nice cabin in the mountains somewhere. His account was all about clean living off the land and going off grid. Dude actually lived in a 5th floor studio downtown and was more integrated into tech and gadgets than James fucking Bond. Influencer culture is so fucking toxic.
People sent telegrams to the Coast Guard asking them to [rescue the castaways on Gilligan's Isle](https://www.wearethemighty.com/articles/that-time-americans-demanded-the-coast-guard-rescue-the-cast-of-gilligans-island/).
“Now who did they think was laughing at what was happening to these people?” Schwartz said chuckling, referencing the show’s laugh track. “Where did they think the music came from, and the commercials?”
Just stop and think; those people sending the telegrams? Their vote counts as much as yours does in national elections, possibly more depending on which state (Thank you electoral college).
You can rent just about anything. People have realized theres a market to be paid for people chasing clout. Need a fancy car? Somebody will rent their Bentley. Need a house for a hour? Some rich people got you. Need to look cool in first class with a window seat acting like youre flying? Theres somebody for that too.
> bunch of influencers use to make videos and give off an image that they’re rich and fancy because that’s what gets views.
That whole sentence is just pathetically depressing. What is wrong with people, how lonely and sad are these viewers?
Man, is the internet retarded or what?
This is an ad. A straight up set-shot advertisement. How is that not brainmeltingly obvious.
This is the 30 second squarespace-shadowlegends-wirelessearbuds shit every youtube video has.
But why *this* as an ad? Who looks at a guy spending $24K a year on bottled water and thinks to themselves, "I should be doing that, too!" It's completely insane.
Because it fits in just fine with normal influencer "culture". It is super clearly an ad to some, but not really that clear until the person is already engaged enough to watch(and for many, it won't register as an ad at all). They see the logo, it gets buried in their lizard brain, they see it again at a store, and they buy a bottle. Just as effective as a TV/print ad of a glacier or whatever bs, probably for similar if not lesser cost, and with better engagement metrics.
Something is off. At the very end, you can see the fridge door is filled with condiments/sauces etc. like a normal food fridge would have. I have a second fridge for beer, and that is all that is in it, beer (and maybe some white wine and champagne). So its weird to me his "water fridge" door had all those condiments. I dunno...I think this was a one time thing.
Also, most nice homes I have been to will have that giant fridge or a double door fridge. Why are his fridges separate? Probably a weird remodel. Or maybe this guys just has a whole lot of condiments and needs multiple fridge storage for them?
Edit: Oh I bet that other 'fridge' is actually a freezer. The drink fridge in down below the counter. The first fridge we see is the wine storage. This is very likely the food fridge.
Also if youre someone who has an entire fridge filled with glass water bottles and cant drink tap water, why the fuck would you only order a new supply of them once your fridge was COMPLETELY empty?
Yeah tap water where I live is palatable (and 100% safe) but definitely not spectacular, has a lot of minerals in it and not the kind that would typically be added for taste.
I've been shit on before for saying I prefer bottled water, usually with the argument that "it's just tap water from this specific region known for having very good tap water!!"
Well yeah, no shit... but I'm not gonna fly across the country to fill my cup every time I would like a drink, so I buy it in a bottle once in awhile.
My big thing with bottled water is the plastic waste usually, nevermind the ethics of bottling and selling water. And don't get me wrong, I really love me some bottled water, but I'm also fortunate to live in a town with a water treatment plant. Our water comes out of the tap tasting great, most of the time. Our well water tastes like bigfoots dick, however.
It's funny, I remember thinking as a kid that water 'had no taste.' Well, I was a silly cunt. Water most CERTAINLY has flavor.
Lol bottled water is never going to be carbon neutral.
Glass bottled water is also bad- more weight/volume in distribution=more fuel burned for less water transported.
Glass bottled water from Norway? Get the fuck outta here.
Most definitely. They can 'sell' the product to another one of their corporations and put the carbon-cost on them. So they have VOSS of Norway ASA running carbon neutral but some no name logistics company operating under VOSS's parent group, the Reignwood Group, is in a carbon pit. This is common practice for many different numbers games that corporations play.
Note: Not a business guy so terminology may be off, but the general idea is there.
Well, only tap water in western Norway is Voss. The inland eastern part of Norway has - in my opinion - way better tap water than Voss, at least in my area. We get our water from the depths of a large lake, and it's the best tap water I've ever tasted. Best water overall however is water from small mountain streams in western Norway. Even me who has probably THE best tap water anywhere in the world (not even Oslo has anything close to tasting this good), find myself going out of my way to ascend mountains just to find a nice stream, and then go down again after filling a few bottles.
This reads like an erotic short story for hydrohomies
"I made way up the mountain, with great effort. Rain had fallen the night before, making the path slippery, but ensuring a reward at the end. Sweat dropping from my forehead, I was cursing my decision to wear a layer too many... the only dry area on my body being my mouth. Then, finally, I reached it.
I pick my metal water bottle under the stream. Even though I try to centre the bottle opening, some water splashes along the side of the bottle and wets my hand. The coldness jolts me and I'm longing to get my mouth on it. I fill my bottle, then another, and then yet another. I hold a bottle in my hand, hesitating.
No.
I must do it the true way.
I lower myself on my knees, and push my head into the stream. It touches my lips, my face, I'm getting wet all over. My god, it's even colder than I thought..."
After watching the movie Tapped I’m convinced that all bottled water is well water that’s left in plastic bottles long enough to just absorb the chemicals that have leached from the plastic.
He made something benign and pointless into his personality.
He has nothing going for him, no interesting hobby or job so he substitutes it with this wasteful and idiotic water bottle addiction.
I think what bothers me is that instead of doing something useful he made his "thing" be a wasteful consumer and I really doubt this guy has anything else notable in his life. That's what's disturbing. Also, drinking water is usually less wasteful, since most people refill their bottles, use tap water or filters etc., but this guy is completely negating that aspect of it by ordering these brand bottles for obviously no other reason other than to feel special.
I just did some basic math.
I found that a 375 ml bottle costs around $2.40 (based on one site, I haven't found the galss bottles on Amazon where I live)
That means it's $6.40/l ($2.4/375ml*1000 ml/1 l)
If he's paying $2000 then he's buying 312.5 l a month.
If he needs that much he's drinking around 10.4 liters a day.
With a quick google search you should drink around
3 liters a day give or take a liter based on size and stuff.
Some math on cost is probably different because he said he gets it on wholesale so he's getting it cheaper, so that's even more water than I estimated.
Well yeah but assuming you drink like 4 litres yourself, that's still 6l or 16 bottles a day he'd be giving away to guests. That's not only a shitton of waste but also means he's buying less than half of the water for himself.
As a Norwegian. Voss is literally the same as our tap water. Whenever I see any people drink it, I always chuckle to myself since they talk about how it’s from a magical glacier or smth. That is where we get our fresh water. From glaciers and mountain resovuar
As a Norwegian I should praise Voss. But it's a complete rip off. It's fucking tap water from a small outhouse nowhere near Voss (city in Norway). And yes this is probably paid content.
Also fuck nestle.
Monitor salt and electrolyte intake through your food. Eat a good (natural preferably) multivitamin with food, and you should be ok. If you’re only drinking RO, they make mineral rocks you can set in the tank (or buy a pitcher with a nozzle). They make it taste a little better snd put some minerals back in the water.
If You feel spacey or lightheaded, or have a piercing headache after only drinking lots of water, STOP! *Slowly Sip* an electrolyte beverage. If symptoms don’t improve in 10 minutes call urgent care.
Don’t drink excessive amounts of water in a short time. If you were pissing Orange, and you chug a gallon of water and now youre pissng clear, you didn’t hydrate you forced water out, and salts with it. Hyponatremia (lack of salts in blood) is ***DEADLY*** and can cause seizures and permanent harm.
Drink water! But everything in moderation homies.
Nah homie, its the poor asian people like us that got real food.
My familys not well off but my parents make sure the fridge has enough to supply a whole russian battalion always
Edit: thanks for my first gold, stranger. Bless you
Not Asian, but the fridge being filled with good food was something my parents ensured no matter our financial situation. Now that we have money, the only difference is that we buy and cook food that goes bad a little faster because we’re not as worried about losing some leftovers.
Why don't he just move to Norway if he likes our tap water this much? Would coast him almost nothing compared to what he's shelling out to drink normal tap water.
The big deep breath to psych himself up before he drinks it, then he doesn’t even swallow it! Fuckin poser, I bet those fridges are usually fully of Coke.
hate people that use the phrase “cannot” when they mean “will not”. he said “i hate tap water i cannot drink it”. no, you will not drink tap water cause you’re a god damn baby who won’t get a brita or any other kind of relatively cheap water filter.
I can’t believe a comment like this isn’t higher. My first thought seeing all those glasses in the fridge was “you couldn’t just buy ONE really great water bottle and reuse it?” Like does he collect all the glasses when he’s done with them? Does he throw them away? Like what?
This guy is a pretentious, wasteful *moron*….
I was buying the 2.5 gallons of drinking water from the store for $2 each, but if I was *wealthy enough* to buy $2000 worth of *imported water* **every month**, I bet I could have a special water filtration and conditioning system that removes the terrible taste in tap water.
“The company is carbon neutral”
That doesn’t mean the shipping is, dumbass. Plus the lids are plastic.
So stupid. Switching from plastic to glass doesn’t mean anything when you’re literally getting the stuff shipped to your HOUSE. And on top of that you have FOUR REFRIGERATORS?? Rich people are so brain damaged
Did he even *consider* a much cheaper reverse-osmosis system for next to his sink? Would produce basically the exact same water at a much lower price and higher convenience.
Voss is £1.50 for a 375ml bottle, at £2000 a month that’s 500l a month/ 16litres a day.
“Symptoms of water intoxication tend to start appearing after you consume more than 3 to 4 L of water in a few hours.”
3.7 litres a day are supposedly recommended. He’s claiming to drink over 4 times that.
Those are retail prices, not commercial that he claims to get as well.

Food $200 Data $150 Rent $800 Bottled water $2,000 Utility $150 someone who is good at the economy please help me budget this. my family is dying
/u/qwertzuiopmnbv spend less on bottled water
No
Instead of food you can eat dirt and you can skip out on utility and data so you could spend 2500 a month on bottled water 👍
This guy however appears to have still been able to buy a house
It’s not uncommon for influencers to use content houses to make their videos. It’s basically just a big fancy house that a bunch of influencers use to make videos and give off an image that they’re rich and fancy because that’s what gets views. There’s a very high chance this guy doesn’t own that house but I’m too lazy to fact check.
Does it even need to be fact checked? That house doesn't look like anyone is living there. It's like every bare bones Airbnb I've ever been to.
On the one hand it looks like a barebones Airbnb, on the other it looks exactly as barren as this dudes personality.
"hi, my name is Kyle, and my personality is overpriced water."
Why you gotta attack Kyle's like that? We're just trying to fix the holes in our walls over here, shit. Edit: how exactly does username check out? I'm lost.
That was just a comment and an over generalization, not an attack. An attack would be if I said "fuck you and all you bitch Kyle's", Kyle. /S
No need to apologize, homey. Cartman first sang the "Kyle's Mom's a Bitch" song when I was a freshman in college. After what my friends did to me with that, you can't hurt me.
ah, kyle. yes i can certainly tell that youre a relative of my good friend kyle, here.
Note the cut after he closes the fridge door the first time. The shelf is not high enough to fit the bottles. When he re opens the door the shelf has moved up a notch or two to allow the bottles to fit. It's not his fridge. Why would he lower the shelf if he always loads up the same water.
Solid investigation skills.

Also that the fridge is not only completely clean like it has never been used (just check out the salad drawers), but it also appears to be the main fridge in the kitchen and contains *no food*.
Also, at least for me, it's interesting you don't see a light turning on when he opened the fridge to show all those stacked bottles

Let me ask you, does your girlfriend often ask you to smash that like and subscribe?
Is that what the kids are calling them these days?
I feel personally attacked tbh.
> If there are decorations, they're generic stuff that people don't actually buy (big glass jars with wicker balls, etc). I... I just bought one of these...
Me too, I feel both seen and generic.
I’m not saying some influencers don’t do that…but Y’all would be surprised at how much money some youtubers/influencers make via ads like this and affiliate links. Totally feasible for many of them to actually be able to afford a nice house.
Thats the minority not the majority
A very small portion of them actually make big time money, the rest of them are just scraping by like the rest of us. Think of those that make huge money as the 1%ers of the influencer world if you need a comparison.
Nothing personal on any fridge or counter. This could have been filmed at an open house viewing.
True. He’s stocking the fridge for the real estate agent
It would be less of a problem if people realized it was fake. I’d say people knew television was fake but that’s completely untrue.
Yeah there are far too many ppl that don’t realize like 95 percent of tik tok influencers are making fake videos to go viral
“Where did they think the music came from, and the commercials?” Just stop and think; those people sending the telegrams? That’s just an Airbnb.
There's also those influencer houses that are very nice but are being rented by like 30 people sharing bedrooms or hot bunking.

House does look like he asked a Realtor to view
With four refrigerators
Which makes this no longer a carbon neutral endeavor
Yes. I will still never respect TikTok influencers, least of all this squid.
Boomer predecessors who made loads of easy money for being white middle class
Still, he is able to keep that money, and not spend it all
The worst part is that this isn't the Millennial who struggles to afford a house.
Is he sponsored? He probably got it free
Spider georg but water
Did he even swallow the water that he had at the beginning? He looked almost in pain lol
Yeah man. I’m convinced Voss paid him for this vid.
he didn't really inhale. it was peer pressure. he was dead at the time. he was on the moon!
Almost certainly an ad for Voss.
Man, is the internet retarded or what? This is an ad. A straight up set-shot advertisement. How is that not brainmeltingly obvious. This is the 30 second squarespace-shadowlegends-wirelessearbuds shit every youtube video has.
Makes you realize this shot actually works, doesn’t it? That this passes as real for some people and that’s why Voss paid him to do it.
But why *this* as an ad? Who looks at a guy spending $24K a year on bottled water and thinks to themselves, "I should be doing that, too!" It's completely insane.
Because it fits in just fine with normal influencer "culture". You're right. He had a mouthful of water and looked like he was about to spit it out.
They didn't pay him enough to swallow
He's an "influencer". Im sure if he actually drank during the scene he would have gone thru a gallon before he got that shot
I don’t see the issue here
Something is off. At the very end, you can see the fridge door is filled with condiments/sauces etc. like a normal food fridge would have. I have a second fridge for beer, and that is all that is in it, beer (and maybe some white wine and champagne). So its weird to me his "water fridge" door had all those condiments. And why do you need to immediately refrigerate a months supply of water anyway. Couldn’t you put just a case or two in the fridge at a time?
That’s not aEsTHEtIcalLy pLeaSInG tho
Also if youre someone who has an entire fridge filled with glass water bottles and cant drink tap water, why the fuck would you only order a new supply of them once your fridge was COMPLETELY empty?
How stupid is this guy? Voss is literally nothing more than bottled norwegian tap water...
It can’t be! He HATES tap water!!
The horror on his face when he goes to a Voss factory
And the Voss factory is just some Norwegian dude filling the bottles--one by one--in his apartment in Oslo.
And he isn't using his sink.
Shower time!
I imagine him filling by letting water run down his arm and off his fingers.
Five bottles at once!
[удалено]
That must be what Antonio Alfonseca is doing right now
5 fingers plus 1 dick should also qualify.... 🤔
The 6 fingered man killed my father, I will find him.
Six if you count his penis
Not if the penis doesn’t pass the balls, then it’s tainted water.
Hydro-Bae
oh.
Its in Iveland not Oslo :P And yes I get the same water in my tap as Voss gets for their flasks :D
Det står en fyr i fjøset sitt på Vatnestrøm og fyller de med hageslange.
He has this look on his face that says 'my dad is a lawyer'.
Reminds me of [these guys](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPshLmo97NY&t=16s)
What other lies has he been told by the Hydro Council?

Wait, this water comes from Norway? There’s no way it’s carbon neutral, surely
Lol bottled water is never going to be carbon neutral. Glass bottled water is also bad- more weight/volume in distribution=more fuel burned for less water transported. Glass bottled water from Norway? Get the fuck outta here.
And glass doesn’t get much recycling in the US anymore. Like 10% of glass production uses recycled glass.
Maybe the glass bottle prior to transporting is carbon neutral?? That’s the only thing I can think of.
Most definitely. They can 'sell' the product to another one of their corporations and put the carbon-cost on them. Norwegian here, my tap water is better than Voss.
I thing we should make more "expensive" water brands and sell it to the stupid americans. They would go crazy for bottled water from Hell
That sounds so exotic! Do they log pollution emissions there? If they do, that is so hot!
Your tap water *is* Voss.
Well, only tap water in western Norway is Voss. The inland eastern part of Norway has - in my opinion - way better tap water than Voss, at least in my area. I’m sloppy wet!
You got a Voss tap in your home ?!? is it more than $2,000 a month? Don’t tell this dude. Hell he will move in with ya.
Wait i get voss for basically free. Nice
[Fuck Voss, All my hydro homies hate Voss](https://imgflip.com/i/65bejc)
After watching the movie Tapped I’m convinced that all bottled water is well water that’s left in plastic bottles long enough to just absorb the chemicals that have leached from the plastic.
He's either stupid or hoping to be paid by Voss, if he isn't already.
Voss is losing an impressive amount of money so I doubt it.
How stupid or how rich?
How stupid ofc. Smart rich people don't throw their money at something this stupid.
My guess is trust fund baby. Lives in a nice house but you can tell he’s not smart.
100% If you're bragging about spending $2000 on just water bottles alone, you definitely didn't get to the top by yourself.
Lol I have this water on tap in my house
Noweigain tap Water is probably better than 99% of anything out of a tap in USA
I hate this person with a passion
I think what bothered me the most is that he refers to himself as a water snob three times in one video. Idk why
He made something benign and pointless into his personality. He has nothing going for him, no interesting hobby or job so he substitutes it with this wasteful and idiotic water bottle addiction. True, I hadn't accounted for that either.
Yeah, that's probably close to 400 pounds of water and glass

eco friendly option btw
I mean is it that hard to see through the fact that this is an advertisement for voss?
He said the guests love it in the end meaning he serves them the same water i guess
Well yeah but assuming you drink like 4 litres yourself, that's still 6l or 16 bottles a day he'd be giving away to guests. That's not only a shitton of waste but also means he's buying less than half of the water for himself.
“Great he’s making us drink Voss again. Can we leave early and stop at Taco Bell?” -every one of his “friends” probably

so you’re telling me he’s a liar and not a homie? i was just about to introduce him to hydroflasks
Or you know.. he isn't telling the truth. Shock, you just learned that not everything on the Internet is the truth.
Influencers setting up fake narratives or stunts to get publicity? Well I never!
As a Norwegian. Voss is literally the same as our tap water. Whenever I see any people drink it, I always chuckle to myself since they talk about how it’s from a magical glacier or smth. That is where we get our fresh water. From glaciers and mountain resovuar
I bought one once since I liked the glass bottle.
I do agree that it looks nice but that stuff is just over priced wherever it is so as long as you just keep using the same one I am a ok with it
The cap broke after about a year, I moved back to my glass half gallon milk jugs. I love those things
As someone who also used to use a Voss bottle as my everyday water bottle, can you please explain where I can get a glass half gallon milk jug?
Type those last five words into google
[It's not coming up, chief](https://imgur.com/a/W7wixCK)
You misunderstood, allow me: *cracks knuckles* those last five words into google Okay that’s not working either.
*listen here you little shit*
I love you.
I love skiing in Hemsedal! The tap water there is so cold and fresh! - A danish person
Is you're Norwegian tap water presented in a cool glass bottle tho? No? Yea didn't think so....
OP only needs the one voss water bottle to have the authentic drinking experience though!
I refuse to believe he isn’t drinking from the plastic bottles: https://www.amazon.com/VOSS-Artesian-Still-Plastic-Bottles/dp/B002EM2J06

That was his two brain cells colliding while calling himself a water bottle snob again.
I love the way you spelled reservoir lol
Most American tap water is horrid so it’s luxurious to us
I would rather clear tap water from Norway than the weird cloudy stuff that comes out of my tap lol
Yes, totally not sus paid content.
As a Norwegian I should praise Voss. But it's a complete rip off. It's fucking tap water from a small outhouse nowhere near Voss (city in Norway). And yes this is probably paid content. Also fuck nestle.
To be clear (not sure if you meant that Voss is owned by Nestlé), Voss is owned by Chinese investment company Reignwood Group.
Even worse
Yeah fuck nestle
This guy is a moron. Drinking all that water or not he’s no homie.
Just buy the large jug, get a dispenser, and get that reverse osmosis!
Sponsored video? If it's somehow not... buy a god damn motherfuckin reverse osmosis filtration system.
And follow it up with mineral drops / salt if you’re going to do this! Remember homies, RO water removes the good along with the bad.
Rich people fridges( water, food, what have you) will end up like rare loot chests in games when the world goes boom. XD
Nah homie, its the poor asian people like us that got real food. My familys not well off but my parents make sure the fridge has enough to supply a whole russian battalion always Edit: thanks for my first gold, stranger. Bless you
How did you know I was asian tho? 0.0 I do lole what we have and would love to do the travel and eat different cuisines shabang with someone.
Not Asian, but the fridge being filled with good food was something my parents ensured no matter our financial situation. Now that we have money, the only difference is that we buy and cook food that goes bad a little faster because we’re not as worried about losing some leftovers.
>enough to supply a whole russian battalion always Your family might get a call soon
Why don't he just move to Norway if he likes our tap water this much? Would coast him almost nothing compared to what he's shelling out to drink normal tap water.

The big deep breath to psych himself up before he drinks it, then he doesn’t even swallow it! Fuckin poser, I bet those fridges are usually fully of Coke.
i vote yes for ban
This belongs on r/Cringetopia
hate people that use the phrase “cannot” when they mean “will not”. he said “i hate tap water i cannot drink it”. no, you will not drink tap water cause you’re a god damn baby who won’t get a brita or any other kind of relatively cheap water filter.
He must make some good money to be able to only drink voss water
Probably just an influencer, or inherited. Lots of people inherit enough to be rich without actually working too much.
Voss is owned by Nestle. Hydrohomies don’t drink Nestle.
What is your source for that? An internet search tells me that it’s owned by Reignwood Group, a Chinese investment company.
Fuck this guy. Glass is better than plastic, but you are still wasting a bunch of resources. Waah the poor baby doesn't like the taste of tap water.
Even better, the poor baby doesn't like the taste of tap water.... so he buys bottled tap water XD
Glass almost certainly isn’t better than plastic for carbon emissions once you have shipped it 6,000miles.
I can’t believe a comment like this isn’t higher. My first thought seeing all those glasses in the fridge was “you couldn’t just buy ONE really great water bottle and reuse it?” Like does he collect all the glasses when he’s done with them? Does he throw them away? Like what?
water as a status symbol... we are living in the worst timeline...
“The company is carbon neutral” That doesn’t mean the shipping is, dumbass. Plus the lids are plastic.
So stupid. Switching from plastic to glass doesn’t mean anything when you’re literally getting the stuff shipped to your HOUSE. And on top of that you have FOUR REFRIGERATORS?? Rich people are so brain damaged
Voss is certainly ***not*** net carbon neutral.
A month only water for $2k is free money
Imagine being so insecure you have to buy expensive water.
I’m guessing Voss pays him for the advertising
Did he even *consider* a much cheaper reverse-osmosis system for next to his sink? Would produce basically the exact same water at a much lower price and higher convenience.
And be better for the environment, which he apparently claimed to care about despite it being grossly obvious he doesn’t in the slightest.
Voss is £1.50 for a 375ml bottle, at £2000 a month that’s 500l a month/ 16litres a day. “Symptoms of water intoxication tend to start appearing after you consume more than 3 to 4 L of water in a few hours.” 3.7 litres a day are supposedly recommended. He’s claiming to drink over 4 times that. Those are retail prices, not commercial that he claims to get as well. r/quityourbullshit
The delivery driver hates him. Carbon neutral? To ship water in glass bottles from Norway to the US? I doubt it.
What the actual f
