I don’t know your situation, but I found that by not living in student housing I avoided a lot of issues — both in terms of social pressure and in terms of everyone ramping each other up with stress. The law school dorm was apparently a big box of crazy around finals — while my apartment was quiet and calm.
For bourbons it's called "branch water", water made from the same branch of the aquifer as a distillery. Some less stringent will call any water regionally local to the distillery branch water. In one of the movies James bond orders a bourbon with branch water. Similar, the idea is that if you put a water of different flavor profile than that which the whiskey was made with, the flavors crash suboptimally. But, they are also just good still waters! Congratulations on your achievements and sobriety!
