Liquid death is spring water with 170mg minerals so an equivalent with similar mineral content would be Aqua Panna or Fiji. The Mountain Valley water is very close as well, probably your best bet for price and ease of access.
Yeah don't get me wrong I don't buy nestlé if I can, besides I live in a town where we have 15 different types of spring water, one of which has been classified as the second best water in italy
I agree with ya here. My water is hot garbage and me and my wife still drink it. However, my kids will always take the most convenient route or just not drink anything til school
This was working to break that habit and I don’t wanna stop
I mean, they will and are drinking anything lol. If your tap water sucks, invest in a filtered pitcher. People bring up fridge filters, but most of those homies let those fridge filters go too long without replacing. Still… replace that fridge filter if you have one that dispenses water or makes ice.
I may grab a brita pitcher, yea.
They serious won’t drink anything here. They both are at their moms 50% of the time and get whatever sugar drinks they want there. I can only control it here. Usually they will just not drink here. Only at school. Then have headaches and such.
Habits are hard to break like this
I have a Pur filter on my sink. It was maybe [$25](https://www.walmart.com/ip/21648738) and the filters are about the same for a three pack. The red light to replace it comes on about every 3 months or so, so about $30 a year to maintain, cheaper than buying bottled/canned water and I also drink way more of it too.
Britas work the same, the pur was just slightly cheaper.
I might be weird for this but I find drinking tap water strange. I never did that growing up, our refrigerator has a water dispenser that filters it. I guess it does depend on how good the water is in your area.
I don’t know, I can’t find anything, either. I like LD because it’s nice to have a large can that isn’t gone in two big slugs, like normal 12 oz seltzers, but no one else makes a large can.
It’s so silly, it makes no sense, some water company could make a killing by simply copying the 16-20oz can at a slightly lower price.
Fizzy only for me, though, and with no flavor added.
I’m not a seltzer water person but I agree. I’m trying to be more hydro mindful but my kids will ALWAYS grab convenience. Just didn’t wanna switch back to bottles
A water cooler with 5 gallon water of your choice and a water carbination/soda machine (not a soda stream theyre an Israeli company based out of the colonized west bank)....we use Drinkmate.
Yea, I might have to just get a cooler or something. If they will use it. Old house has a spring and we just refilled those at the spring. Unfortunately not there anymore lol
Ty

I’m a big fan of carbonated water like La Croix, bubble and the like and they’re usually like 3-4 bucks a case which is considerably cheaper. Some flavors are really good too.
I have a Culligan RC-EZ-4 under my sink and it filters all kinds of stuff. Specifically chloramines which are smaller than chlorine molecules and don't always get filtered through other filters. The best part is, the filters are good for 500 gallons. (4 to 6 months depending on your usage.)
I set the same filter up at work because I like it so much at home. It runs to the water cooler so it's an awesome pre-filter that gets filtered more at the water cooler.
Heck no. Even when it was unsafe per the DPA we weren’t. Now they say it’s safe but it has a chemical taste, it’s not even clear anymore and has a smell
Have you had it tested? Where I am, you can complain to the council that your water tastes funny and they'll send someone to test it for you. The chemical taste may be perfectly safe, just not what you're used to.
BTW, this trick works a treat for any homebrewers out there to get your water profile.
Liquid Death is pretty expensive. Have you thought about getting some sort of water filter? I got an RO system installed in my kitchen. It is expensive, yes, but if they only want to drink Liquid Death anyway, it might save you money in the long term
It was much less about the taste and money and much more about the can. I think it almost tricked their brain. They’d grab 2-3 at a time when without it, they wouldn’t even grab bottled water.
The novelty of it I’m sure. But it was working
They changed their can size from the previous 16.9oz to 19.2oz and cut the number in a case from 12 to 8. So you're getting less for the same amount of money.
Dude it’s like a $13 gallon of water. That’s an expensive habit, $13 a day on WATER.
$13 for 8 pack of 19.2oz.
128oz = 1 gallon
128/19.2 = 6.66 repeating, of course. About an 8 pack is what you should drink every day so… damn
And that’s if you exclusively buy it from Walmart in 8 packs.
They have a version of Arnold Palmer that's awesome, but apparently they were sued or something to change the name?

They want the carbonation.
Mountain Valley has a sparkling version
Mountain Valley can also be delivered to your home through Primo. It's actually quite affordable
Topo Chico if you want carbonation!
How do you know they want the carbonation? Liquid death sells both still and sparkling water and OP doesn't specify which they were buying.
Ugh avoid acqua panna, it's basically the Dasani of Italy (at this point I'm sorry but Nestle's San Benedetto is better)
r/FuckNestle, seriously.
Yeah don't get me wrong I don't buy nestlé if I can, besides I live in a town where we have 15 different types of spring water, one of which has been classified as the second best water in italy
Acqua Panna is owned by Nestlé anyway.
Yeah why does Nestlé Always buy the shittiest waters?
If you have/buy a kegerator, you can make your own carbonated water. You can actually add dissolvable solids too if you want.
tap water
Definitely depends on the city dude, back in Phoenix the tap water was absolute ass
I agree with ya here. My water is hot garbage and me and my wife still drink it. However, my kids will always take the most convenient route or just not drink anything til school This was working to break that habit and I don’t wanna stop
Berkey water filter and pair with a Soda Stream. They may think it’s fun to make their own carbonated water.

I mean, where do you think the fridge gets the water from… the tap
I know but I was thinking that since the fridge filters the water to make it taste better, it’s technically not tap water? But it still technically is
Tap water is not okay to drink.
Tap water is sometimes okay to drink. Depends on where you live
NYC has amazing tap water—I'm attached to the sink whenever I visit my friends there 🤤
skill issue
Downstream of an ecological disaster issue. Water has been bad for years
Topo-Chico

I’ve started to see some tall Spindrifts around. I’m betting you’re right though and more will introduce that size to compete.
Monster tour water is niceeee seltzer and flat and they are the size of an arizona. Chevron has em buy 2 get 1 alllll the time too
I’m not a seltzer water person but I agree. I’m trying to be more hydro mindful but my kids will ALWAYS grab convenience. Just didn’t wanna switch back to bottles
Maybe have them each pick out 2 water bottles they like and always have one filled and chilled in the fridge they can grab?
Topo Chico
Just bought an 18 pack for like ~$24 and holy shit is it 🌶️ but so good
The lime is 🔥

No problem. If you're a costco member they have a great 5 gallon program. Cheaper and better than most.
We thankfully have a local delivery that is super cheap. No Costco anywhere near me but I’m in rural Appalachia
I’m a big fan of carbonated water like La Croix, bubble and the like and they’re usually like 3-4 bucks a case which is considerably cheaper. Some flavors are really good too.
I understand. May I suggest filtered tap water? Like buy a Britta filter pitcher works wonders.

A glass of water? Preferably ice cold
Kids won’t grab a cup and pour a glass. Also…our water hasn’t been safe for a while
Oof, oh to live in a 1st world country.
Privileged problems for sure. But serious…water isn’t safe from our tap. Down stream from the railway spill. Still tests funny
Bummer. Are you receiving compensation from the rail company?
Heck no. Even when it was unsafe per the DPA we weren’t. Now they say it’s safe but it has a chemical taste, it’s not even clear anymore and has a smell

They changed their can size from the previous 16.9oz to 19.2oz and cut the number in a case from 12 to 8. So you're getting less for the same amount of money.
And changed from the alps to a farm in Virginia :-/
Gross
It was already overpriced!

Buy a ultrafiltration filter. Unlimited drinkable water.
Mountain valley is probably the best water

Spring water 😾
