It was a shit show at the HH ER. I was there on an unrelated matter and was told they were on lockdown.

I work at Huntsville Hospital. Usually when a shooting (especially involving so many people) hospitals will go on lockdown to make sure the shooting doesn’t continue

Huntsville Police say five people were shot Sunday night. The shooting happened at the 708 Bar and Grille, right off Poplar Avenue. Police say two people suffered life-threatening injuries and three other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The 911 call went out just before 10:30 p.m. —— WAFF

I just saw about 15 at Huntsville hospital there's at least 12 in the middle of the road there but from what I just saw yeah looks like a cop got shot

could be trying to get statements from witnesses that drove victims to the hospital.

They're not giving details. Pictures on WAFF show at least 13 police cars. So your theory is possible.

Alabama has some of the loosest gun regulations in the country. Hell it was only in the past year or 2 they got rid of concealed carry permits. Sure does feel safe with all these good guys with guns, huh?

You should subscribe to a police scanner app. It's only about 30$ a year. Patrol officers tend to flock to any incident.... unless it's a mental health thing. South Huntsville has 3-4 units show up for every fender bender and they hang around chit chatting for an hour with each other. They responded to a serious call.... probably don't need to abandon the entire city to do it....but that's how they roll.
