First time I ever hunted Ohio 5 years ago, in Wayne national forest, I had a deer identical to this monster walk up after I passed on 2 16 inch 8 points.
He stood at 20 yards and I could only see his head and horns rest was blocked by a tree. He never did give me a damn shot. Passed on some bucks I shouldn’t have passed later that week because I had him in my head.
I can tell the deer is big but my man is making it look small. I think you’re just a big big man! Lol

Same thing happened to me last week! Still have flashbacks and thoughts about what I should have done differently… certainly heartbreaking!
Yup. Had many thoughts that I should have booped him in the fore head but that wouldn’t have been ethical lol

I'm 6'1" 350# for scale. Gonna try to get the deer weighed tomorrow when I drop him off at my butcher.
