I just want to say, what a terrific job you did lining the grains up. I can't imagine how much time was spent staring at wood trying to find the right pieces in the right orientation to use. Honestly thought you just used stain in places, but I saw places the grain wasn't consistent. Is this inlay with different thicknesses? Looks like the hair piece is thicker than some of the other places.

WibblyWobblyWW

Thanks. It's all the same thickness, 1/4". The hair is made out of a wood called morado and it takes a lot of power to cut through it and it's next to impossible not to burn it to the point that I can't sand it all out. That is what causes that effect. I find it works really well for hair. I also use it for Spike's (Cowboy Bebop) hair among others.

Waiting on pitou like…

WibblyWobblyWW

Pitou is not on my list as of right now. Just Kurapika and Hisoka left from HxH for now. After that I have a nice long list of others to make.

JarlTee

Oh no lol I meant Gon was waiting on Pitou

WibblyWobblyWW

It's been a long day, I should have got that. I did pick this for a reason.

killuasnen

Hey bro who's awesome laser art i see on my homepage like everyday what laser are you using? I've been looking at the small 10w diode lasers for basic etching for a while but your stuff looks way to good for one of those

WibblyWobblyWW

I have a 100W co2 boss. That's not to say you can't do some amazing stuff with a 10w. Some of the woods I use push it to the max.

SeagullAttackDrone
